Are you really worried about voiding the contract though? If that's the case just wait till the summer and trade him basically anywhere for a future 2nd. Unless you just want to punish him? If you just want out of the contract that can be done easily enough I think.

That is very true. Like INF has always said, our FO values the Morri much more than others in the league. So we are probably trying to find a way to get value for him, instead of cutting our losses. I understand what they are doing, but it is shortsighted. It is like choosing not to sell a stock because it is worth less now that when you bought it. Yes, in the short term it makes sense not to take a loss, but in the long-term we know that all NBA stocks will be worth zero at some point. I doubt Keef is going to make a huge comeback here in pee aitch ex.
