Game Day: Hornets (17-17) @ Suns (12-25), Wed 1/6/16

Post by Superbone »

Time: 7:00 pm AZ (6:00 pm PT/9:00 pm ET)
Place: Talking Stick Resort Arena, Phoenix, AZ
TV: FSAZ, NBALP

Can we stop the bleeding tonight? It's a home game. We've had two nights off. The Hornets are on their worst losing streak of the year at 4 in a row. You would think we might have a chance to win this one. Let's see how the guys respond after the last embarrassment.

Go Suns!!!

All I want to see is good play from our young guys. Wins do not matter.

I think it''ll go down to the wire but look for a botched play, or for Knight to dribble off his foot, or something incredibly dumb to happen. Maybe a double dribble on a crucial possession. We haven't seen that yet. I'm trying to think outside of the box in terms of how many ways the Suns can find to piss away a game.

The Hornets are surprisingly perky and capable this season. With the way we're playing lately, this is probably another loss. Lots of minutes for Booker, Warren, and Len and I'm happy.

Exactly. I think it is more likely we extend our losing streak than they do theirs.

For some reason, I'm really excited for the game tonight. Here's hoping the youngsters get it together!

... BTW, among my many disappointments this season has been TJ's lack of aggression. He simply is not displaying the sort of intensity I was hoping for. Part of that, I speculate, is the system, which is why I'd welcome back Mike D'Antoni and his "Ball Finds Energy" philosophy. I keep waiting for TJ's switch to flip.

Per Paul Coro, the Suns went on a group outing to a bowling alley yesterday so that should clear up all of those chemistry problems.

I've had a beard for the last 18 months. Maybe I should put a beard on my avatar. -Things I think about instead of the Suns when I'm on .net.

I will miss Hornacek's cheeky since of humor. I still miss D'Antoni's. He was always a fun interview. Too bad that weekly talk show interview thing the coach has to do didn't exist when D.A. was here. Hornacek's comment on the bowling. "We never say who the worst bowler is. We wouldn't call Alex Len out like that."

I once went bowling with the Fantastic Four. Try to imagine how that went. (Mr. Fantastic bowled an effortless 300, The Thing complained a lot about his fingers not fitting in the holes and accidentally destroyed several lanes, I have no idea what The Invisible Woman did because she was invisible, and The Human Torch eschewed the game in favor of hitting on the lady behind the counter.)

This lineup combo is trash and features none of our young guys. WTF?

Maybe the last ditch effort to win now?

Stupid, I know. I'd much rather start the Ben Simmons watch at this point.

Or maybe Price just beat Booker at bowling.

Hornacek has to be trying to get fired now. Price-Tucker-Chandler should never be on the court at the same time let alone starting. Ridiculous. Just... ridiculous.

wasn't there a whole bunch of analytics posted above how price tucker chandler are far our worst combo?

yay energy, vet leadership, grit, hustle 12-25!

Or maybe this is just an attempted genius move where we can show case them for trade. Don't think the results will be pretty though, so showcasing them does more hard than good
