I need to just go pick it up at the used bookstore, I've checked it out twice from the library and I never can finish it by the time the counter runs out.

ENORMOUS. And honestly, I can't believe they went there. It's long been a book reader theory but to see them spell it out like that... Also that they basically hit on it twice. Once in the talk between Petyr and Sansa and then again with Ser Barristan and Dany.

That was actually not what I was thinking about, but yeah, you win. The branch I spoke of actually started in the previous episode, so I guess I was technically wrong.

At this point, I think it's safe to say that the books and show are different stories. Related, yes, but very different.
