I'm not going to veto trades, but that one looks to be pretty lopsided to me.

For which side?

I'm just not a MPJ believer, and Harden is the best player in the trade by a pretty wide margin. Unless he gets hurt, he's going to be a top 10 player this season. Gobert and MPJ won't sniff that value. Kemba is a wild card because of his health. Could be great or could be dropped in a month.

A lot of Gobert's value comes from punting his weak categories, but The Ballchinians' is a combined 6-0 in FT% and assists after 3 weeks. It's a pretty big change for that team.

Interesting... I guess I prefer the other side, only very lightly though. Gobert is as dependable as they come, whereas Harden's issues this year might be more than just the new rules. He doesn't look as explosive... didn't really last season either but last season Kyrie was there to draw attention away from him, plus he could always do his shenanigans to get foul shots when all else fails. This year he needs to really slim down and find his first step again, or this 20/8/8 version of him with tons of turnovers might be who he is. Not huge on MPJ either, especially with that back injury, but it seems reasonably even to me.

The defending champ is happy with the trade. Porter was ballin last year and I think he will regain that form sooner than later. A 1st and 8th round pick for a 2nd and 3rd round pick.

I just had my first winning week of the season as well. Put me at a 0.500 record and a 3 way tie for 6th.

And this recent news is why I'm not a MPJ believer. That trade essentially came down to Harden for Gobert, which is pretty lopsided in my opinion.

But Harden so far has sucked a lot.
