Russia Says It's on the Brink of Robot Warfare
Then again, Russia says a lot of things.

https://www.popularmechanics.com/techno ... t-warfare/

A new report out of Russia's military research center suggests the Kremlin is close to realizing an army of Terminator-like robot soldiers that could soon replace humans in battle.

"Living fighters will gradually begin to be replaced by their robotic 'brothers' who can act faster, more accurately and more selectively than people," Vitaly Davydov told the Russian news agency RIA Novosti on April 21, according to a Forbes report. Davydov is the deputy director of the Advanced Research Foundation, which is Russia's version of the U.S. Defensed Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA)

Russia is completely paranoid about the US military and spends a lot of time bragging about how superior their military is to the US, which sounds like an inferior complex to me. Robots are definitely the future of warfare but, I doubt Russia is as far along as they suggest.

Not military hardware but hardware. Three different countries are launching missions to Mars separately this weeK.

Look out, Mars: Here we come with a fleet of spacecraft

Three countries — the United States, China and the United Arab Emirates — are sending unmanned spacecraft to the red planet in quick succession beginning this week, in the most sweeping effort yet to seek signs of ancient microscopic life while scouting out the place for future astronauts.

We made fun of Trumps Space Force but, space is becoming militarized. It won’t be guys in space ships shooting at other guys in space ships. For the foreseeable future it will be satellites shooting down other satellites. Our military is very dependent on satellites. At the outbreak of war satellites will be big time targets.

I didn’t think Mars had enough of an atmosphere for that.

Interesting to find out.
