Been sinking some serious hours into this game... For a free to play game, I've been pleasantly surprised by how good it's been. I did kick down $50 into it between the season pass and in game currency. I firmly believe in throwing free to play games a few bucks, especially if they're this good. I'm not really a huge fan of "games as a service" type games but realized it's something I might as well embrace since it's the world we live in

I've been doing laps on Fortress for what seems like a lifetime.
Still playing?
Yep. Nothing else scratches my looter itch. End game leveling is a slog
How long have you had this looter itch? And what do you feel was the psychological genesis of it for you? Skyrim? Looting candy bars as a small child? Being encumbered in skyrim, or as a small child... with those candy bars?

Has anybody tried this Astro Bot game yet? Looks like a Sony game and a PS5 exclusive. Hearing it's really fun.
Can't wait to play it! I loved the demo that came with PS5. I have my copy but just moved into my new home and don't have my TV and video game systems hooked up yet. Platformers are some of my all-time favorites.
Anyone else get the feeling that it stole some of the best elements from Mario, Sonic, and Star Fox and created this game through AI?
I don't know about the AI part but they definitely stole from all platform games that came before it. Their use of the PS5 haptic feedback is next level though.

It definitely looks like Sony's attempt to make a Mario-esque mascot platformer. Good for them if it's as good as they say. I still don't have a PS5 but maybe at some point I'll get one.

The PS5 Pro is coming out this year for the low, low price of $699.99!

Yea…. Not impressed. As someone who did the whole a launch ps4 and ps4 pro later… it was a decent upgrade at the time and the price wasn’t ridiculous. This one is marginal at best and any halfway decent gaming pc beats it. Also can’t believe the new pro model doesn’t even come with a disk drive. The only thing I thought the ps5 needed was a serious hard drive upgrade…. For me still wasn’t something I need a pro for since I already put a 2tb ssd in it.

GameStop is offering you 400 bucks in credit if you turn in your PS5 towards a pro, that's if they don't go outta business before it drops.
GameStop Says It’s Giving $410 For PS5 Trade-Ins, But That Will Fall Fast
In the wake of the announcement of the controversial PS5 Pro, many PlayStation die-hards are already clamoring to get one. One way to reduce that $700 cost? Trading in your current PS5, which of course, GameStop is now encouraging.
GameStop posted a tweet showing a customer’s receipt that he got $410 back with promos, confirming that number saying it was “up to” that much. But before you get excited, that already seems to be out of date not 24 hours later.
On the GameStop website, its now saying that it will pay up to $330 for the PS5 Slim digital and $357 for the Slim disc version. The same prices remain for OG disc and digital consoles, which most people will no doubt own. But obviously that’s less than $410, and yes, this is in store credit, which cash being $120 or so lower. And that max amount also requires you to be a “Pro” member which costs $25 a year. Without that, you’re getting well, $30 less, so it sort of cancels out.
