I just assume every day could be my last day on earth and try to enjoy it.
Yesterday I was cursed. One of those days where everything breaks. Trying to iron my shirt before the gig and the outlet we had attached to the wall fell off and I couldn’t get it back on. I get on the freeway to go to the gig and a mile later I have a flat tire and am stuck on the road and have to call a tow truck to bring me to the tire place since my car doesn’t have a spare. I barely make it to the gig in time to set up and my nylon string guitar I am going to use for the cocktail hour is broken and I have to duck tape it together last minute. For some reason I thought the Suns game was Saturday and was worried my curse would lose the game for them.
Luckily the gig went fine, I have new tires, the Suns didn’t play/lose and I played Fortnite with the band leader when I got home and it ended up being a good day after all.
