I plowed through MaM in three days. Like most, I have some opinions...

I can't help but feeling like the series was impartial in favor of the Avery's and their extended family. I certainly think there was some injustice, but I think I could only make a fair judgment with regard to the defendants guilt or innocence if I were following the case in real-time at the courthouse.

The entire prosecution, or quite simply everyone working for The State of Wisconsin, come across as enormous egotistical pricks. The moment Kratz and Kachinsky came into the fold I was immediately disgusted by their demeanor. Again, I can't make a commitment one way or another about the defendants guilt or innocence, but the actions of those two public employees would've been enough for me to be against The State.
Spoiler: show/hide

Bump.

The Night Of is terrific. Anyone watching?

Same with Mr. Robot. Love that show.

I'm also watching Outcast on Cinemax - decent.

Haven't watched TNO yet, but planning to. Mr. Robot came back in a big way on Wednesday. Possibly the best non-premium channel show on Television right now. I've not seen Outcast yet but I've read the comic and it is so-so. Not Kirkman's best work.

I like Preacher but feel it has veered too far from it's Comic roots. He leaves the town in the first issue, lol.

I like Cameron Crowe's new Tv show on Showtime, called Roadies. Which is about... roadies.

I want to check out The Night Of. I loved Mr Robot Season 1 and am really eager to watch Season 2, but I haven't had time to start it yet.

The wife and I are watching Preacher. Decent show; a little zany but we are getting into it. It's about a reformed bad-boy preacher in a Texas town who encounters some supernatural ... stuff. (trying not to be too spoilery) Anybody else seen it?

Mori doesn't read his own site. :P

I'm watching Preacher as well. Haven't heard of The Night Of. What is it and where would I watch it?

Finally catching up on Limitless and loving it. Really bummed that is has been cancelled. I have the final two episodes to watch.

I've been watching Wayward Pines, Maron, 12 Monkeys, Ray Donovan, The Jm Gaffigan Show. Watched Mr. Robot from the beginning. Just got back in town last night and will probably watch eps2.0 tonight.

Roadies is getting pilloried by the critics.

HBO. It's a limited series about a Pakistani kid in NY who is charged with murdering a girl. It's a crime procedural in the most literal sense of the word. They go through every aspect of the police work, legal work, prison experience etc. Very well made.

Missed this part of your post; sorry about that, carey old chum. I don't know anything about the comic. Why is it weird for him to leave the town? He doesn't do that in the comic? Would prefer a somewhat less spoilery answer if that's possible. Any other differences you can talk about that won't give away a bunch about where the story is likely to go?

"US Democrats and Republicans might not agree on much during this highly contentious election season, but there is one thing they have in common: a fondness for the CW’s Supernatural.
The fantasy drama is a fan favorite among viewers on both ends of the political spectrum. The show, which has been renewed for a 12th season, was rated number one among Republicans who were asked to rank their favorite TV shows in an E-Poll Market Research survey. And it was the third-favorite among Democrats polled."

I'll answer once the season finale airs. It is weird he is still there.

My big brother is a passionate Republican, and he LOVES Supernatural. What is it about that show?

Its one of my favorite shows. There are two brothers who were raised by their father to be hunters. They hunt demons, ghosts, vampires and a whole assortment of monsters. They drive an old classic car and always play classic rock music. They have both been to hell and back literally. They work deals with demons and think most angels are douche bags. They have a real good friend who is an angel (Castiel) and recently found out that another friend of theirs (Chuck) that was a prophet writing down their story in books was actually God. I suppose it could be a little cheesy for some. Some of the episodes can be but overall I have enjoyed it a lot.

My favorite character is one of the brothers, Dean. He is a hard ass who loves hamburgers, beer and porn. "Let's go kill some evil sonofabitches!"

That should be in a spoiler tag. I'm a couple seasons behind.

I still watch but only when I'm bored & caught up on other shows. Really the whole show should have ended at the season 5 finale. It was a really solid 5 season arc. The only reason i watch now is because of the brothers' relationship. Not having Jim Beaver on it anymore was a mistake in my opinion. Fantastic character actor that served as the surrogate father. Idk if it was budget cuts or whatever but they should have kept him.

So this is about 20 years late, but Mr. Show is amazing. Like I said, probably old news for you guys, but if by some reason you missed it like me (couldn't afford HBO 20 years ago), you should watch it. I was amazed at how relevant the story lines still were today.

I've got the whole thing on DVD. Great stuff! I've been on a Tim and Eric kick lately. Anybody else seen the show?

A friend of mine passionately insists that I need to watch Stranger Things. I've got that on my list, but I don't get Netflix so I may have to acquire it in another way.

I can't post my tweets about it because I'm protected but my son and I binge watched it while he was sick. It's very good. A must watch for anyone that grew up on the Amblin films of the 80's.
