Dang, Derrick Rose is doing the news too? J/k, this doesn't look so good, and was a former CEO of Cream City Foundation, which runs the Milwaukee Drag Queen Story Hour for local children.

Milwaukee County Circuit Court judge charged with possession of child porn

MADISON, Wis. —
A Milwaukee County Circuit Court judge has been charged with seven counts of possession of child pornography.

The Department of Justice arrested Brett Blomme, 38, following an investigation into multiple uploads of child pornography through a Kik messaging application account in October and November 2020.

Based upon records linking those uploads to the defendant, investigators obtained search warrants for the defendant, his chambers, his vehicle and his residences in Milwaukee and Dane counties.

Neighbors told WISN 12's Derrick Rose multiple investigators were on their street early Tuesday morning searching the judge's Milwaukee home.

A criminal complaint details six videos and one photo depicting child pornography.

Before serving on the court, Blomme, was the president and CEO of Cream City Foundation in Milwaukee.

He won election in April 2020 and took the bench Aug. 1, 2020.

Blomme's term is scheduled to end July 31, 2026.

"The allegations are alarming," Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett said. "Before he was elected to the bench, the judge served as chair of the Board of Zoning Appeals, an appointed board in City Government. The reports of the arrest came as a complete surprise."

Blomme was held in the Dane County Jail and made an initial court appearance Wednesday afternoon.

A court commissioner set a $500 signature bail.

He was released from jail shortly after 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Blomme has not yet entered a plea in the case.

If convicted, he faces up to 25 years in prison on each count.

He will be back in court April 19.

No other details have been released.

Milwaukee County's chief judge said Blomme's court schedule would be covered by another judge starting Wednesday.

His duties were suspended Wednesday by the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

I'm trying to figure out who the judge is trying to protect here, Maxwell, the public, or the implicated?

Judge Rules Some Ghislaine Maxwell Details Are Too ‘Sensational and Impure’ to Be Revealed to the Public

A federal judge in Manhattan on Thursday ruled on a series of redactions proposed by Ghislaine Maxwell and prosecutors regarding a compilation of transcripts submitted under seal by the government last month.

After reviewing arguments from both sides, U.S. District Judge Alison J. Nathan allowed most of the government’s redactions to remain in place over Maxwell’s objections while also adding several additional redactions at her request.

That's sickening. It doesn't feel like life in prison is justice enough for these predators, imo.

Ghislaine Maxwell faces new charges as US prosecutors expand criminal case
New indictment adds charges of sex trafficking conspiracy and sex trafficking of a minor

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/202 ... ey-epstein

US prosecutors have expanded their criminal case against British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, unveiling a new indictment adding charges of sex trafficking conspiracy and sex trafficking of a minor.

Maxwell, the longtime associate of late financier Jeffrey Epstein, now faces an eight-count indictment that also accuses her of enabling his sexual misconduct, as well as perjury.

Lawyers for Maxwell did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The original indictment, to which Maxwell had pleaded not guilty, accused her of helping Epstein recruit and groom three teenage girls for sex between 1994 and 1997.

Monday’s amended indictment adds a fourth victim, saying that between 2001 and 2004 Maxwell and Epstein recruited an underage girl to engage in sex acts with Epstein at his home in Palm Beach, Florida.

More details soon…

That would be big trouble if true. Did you read the article? I've read much better from the NYT. This one wasn't great, imo.

Several other sources have confirmed the investigation, including WaPo and others. No reason for FUD on this.

7th Man Arrested in Sex Abuse Case at Youth Detention Center
New Hampshire police have arrested a seventh man in connection with sex abuse allegations at the state’s youth detention center.
By Associated Press, Wire Service Content April 8, 2021, at 1:41 p.m.

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire police arrested a seventh former youth detention center worker Thursday, a supervisor who is accused of responding to a bruised and crying teenager’s rape allegations by saying, “Look little fella, that just doesn’t happen.”

Gordon Thomas Searles, 65, of Brooksville, Florida, was charged with one count of rape a day after the arrest of six other former workers at the Sununu Youth Services Center. He was being held without bail in Florida, and it was unclear whether he has an attorney to speak on his behalf.

The Manchester facility, formerly known as the Youth Development Center, has been under investigation since July 2019, when two former counselors were charged with raping a teenage boy 82 times in the 1990s.

Those charges were dropped last year in order to strengthen the expanded investigation, but both men were arrested again Wednesday, along with four others based on allegations from 11 victims from 1994 to 2005.

Searles was one of several defendants named in a lawsuit filed last year in which more than 200 men and women allege they were physically or sexually abused as children by 150 staffers at the Manchester center from 1963 to 2018.

According to their attorney, children were gang raped by counselors, beaten while raped, forced to compete for food in “fight clubs” set up by counselors, and locked in solitary confinement for weeks or months.

The lead plaintiff, David Meehan, alleges that in 1998, Searles came into his room and saw that Meehan’s face was severely bruised, with a black eye and split lip.

“Searles asked, in a jocular tone, what had happened, at which point David began to cry and told Searles that he had been beaten and raped,” the lawsuit reads. “Searles cut him off, responding ‘Look little fella, that just doesn’t happen.’ Then Searles left.”

Democrat former mayor and cannabis entrepreneur is arrested for 'sexual assault on a minor aged 14 or 15 and possessing child porn'
Police arrested former Sebastopol Mayor Robert Jacob early Sunday morning
Held over 'assaults' in Sebastopol between December 2019 and March 2021
He made history by being elected first city mayor with background in cannabis

A Californian cannabis entrepreneur turned Democratic mayor was arrested Saturday on suspicion of sexually assaulting a minor aged 14 or 15 and possessing child pornography.

Police arrested former Sebastopol Mayor Robert Jacob, 44, over alleged attacks that occurred in the city between December 2019 and March 2021 - while he was no longer in elected office.

It came after police received a call on March 30 describing a number of offences said to have been carried out by Jacob, who was elected mayor in 2013 and served one term.

Police Chief Kevin Kilgore said Jacob was arrested just after 7am on charges including forcible penetration of a child aged 14 or 15 and a number of other sex crimes against minors.

Yes, that's an interesting case. Is it true? There are some allegations that seem credible, but idk.

Really weird that a full thread devoted to sex trafficking doesn't get a single mention of the biggest sex trafficking story around.

What's that, Indy? The border crisis, where children as young as 10 are getting gang raped inside the "facilities"? Or Gislaine Maxwell and the 2.7 million pages of evidence she's provided?

BTW, you're free to post anything you feel worthy.

Maybe if you continue choosing not to read about it, it'll go away. Meanwhile please do post 20 more articles about other sex trafficking that align with republican talking points.
