How so? Don’t Republicans hate Communism? They are the ones claiming Dems want a Communist/Socialist/Authoritarian/Facist and any other big words they can come up with country. Democracy would certainly be dead at that point if he gets away with all his BS. It would be an autocracy until the civil war broke out. Then we would be a war torn third world country with a lot less people in it probably controlled by China, who moved in after we destroyed ourselves. Then Trump could claim he won and he would be happy.

Nodack, with all due respect, this is coming off unhinged. Trump is always the boogeyman, and every ill of this country is his fault? It's Keith Olbermann vibes, as nearly every post you make here invokes his name and blames him. It's concerning, and not normal or healthy. I would suggest stepping away for a time period and just focus on our Suns and your music. Take a break from politics and whatever media you are consuming with it in mind

As long as Trump continues to be a real threat to our country, I won’t be stepping away. There are two halves of America right now. There are Democrats and there is Trump. Trump is the Republican Party and he doesn’t even hold office. Call it unhinged if you want. A majority of Republicans favor civil war and forty something percent of Dems now favor civil war. That would mean the end of America. That’s a pretty big deal IMO.

As long as Republicans believe all Trumps lies he will be a threat to our country. I am not just going to ignore it and pretend it’s not a big deal.

Nobody is talking about a bloody Civil War except you, and apparently whatever media you are consuming. That's pretty disturbing, tbh.

Trump hasn't been in office for over 8 months. What lies are you talking about that is concerning you so greatly?

How about that the election was stolen? More people than ever believe this even though ALL evidence points to the contrary.
Wormwood/Superbone 2019/2020 season bet: Suns win < 30 games, Wormwood wins, else 'Bone wins. 1 month avatar shame starting July 1st of winner's choosing. ACCOMPLISHED! 34 wins in a shortened season! Like it mattered. We rarely see Wormwood anyway!

What lies? Well, there are 563526575636264758674635 of them but, the ones claiming everybody on planet earth conspired to steal the election from him are the the ones I am specifically talking about right now. The ones that led to the Capital attack to stop the election certification. The ones that make a majority of Republicans believe Trump is still President. The ones that now make every Republican politician claim fraud during every election now. Those lies erode confidence in our elections and I believe that is precisely what they are attempting to accomplish, which is VERY un-American, evil and threatens to tear the country apart, just to satisfy Trumps massive ego.

So this is the new shit the media is pushing our throats? Are you stocking up on food and water? Did you buy your ammo and guns to get ready? Have you been practicing your aim at firing range? Have you purchased your body armor for you and your wife yet? Did you fortify your home and create a bug out plan to get out of Scottsdale? Doesn't this all sound a bit silly and over the top(although it does feel like an economic collapse is coming very soon, which could require all these things)?

Can I trust The Well News or Washington Monthly? Were they given the stamp of approval here? How many people were killed in the Capitol attack now? 5? 50? 500? It's right up there with the Alamo. "**sniff, sniff**, but you held."

Didn't we hear from HRC and the Dems for 4 yrs about how the election was "stolen" from them and Russia, Russia, Russia did it? Isn't that normal political discourse with precedent created 5 yrs ago now?

Did you notice how 41% of Dems want to create 'Blue' haven states too in that article? That seems pretty high also.

It’s not the Dems who are buying guns and ammo. It’s not the Dems who are joining militia’s and parading around in their body armor.

I didn’t see any Dems say the election was stolen from them. They said Russia was meddling on Trumps behalf which was backed up by ALL US intelligence agencies across the board. They didn’t protest. They didn’t claim the voting system was rigged. They didn’t claim the voting machines were corrupted. They didn’t claim the Post Office was in on a steal. They didn’t claim the election officials were in on a steal. They didn’t file 50+ BS lawsuits trying to stop the election results because of all the fraud. They didn’t claim the FBI was in on a steal and all the poll workers and their second cousins. They didn’t call Democrat election officials and tell them to “find” enough votes. They didn’t storm the Capital trying to stop the certification or threaten to hang the Vice President. Comparing the two is ridiculous.

Dems are as sick of Republicans as Republicans are sick of Dems. Yes, some of them are ready to split the country. The thing is you can’t just divide a country and make blue and red states. What is AZ? It’s kind of 50/50 now. Have a lottery and force the other side to move out? I don’t think so. A civil war means the end of America imo. Yes, I blame 90% of it on Trump. He is the one that cannot stop lying all the time about everything all the time.

Trump - '[Democrats] cheat on the elections. They don't need votes. They cheat on the elections. I mean, you look at 43,000 votes were found last night. They cheat on elections. When you cheat on elections you don't have to destroy the country. They are destroying our country. Our country will not survive this. Our country will not survive.'

You don't think that Dems are buying guns and ammo? Ok. To think that Conservatives haven't been doing that forever, is odd. There is definitely an uptick when a Dem comes into office claiming they are going to take away guns though.

Are you serious? They absolutely did claim that it was stolen. They did say that it was rigged, and claimed that Trump was an illegitimate President. Maxine Waters, Rashida Tlaib, Swallwell to name a few off the top of my head were pretty boisterous about it. I shouldn't be surprised by the POV of what has happened though.

I'm as sick of Republicans, and maybe more so than I am of Dems, tbh. It's sad that you glommed on to one part of the story of the audit(the ballot count), where that was a small part of the story. But once again, it was the narrative that was happily chowed down on, with a shit eating grin. I don't want to comment on the audit or the election results, but the information coming out is a bit damning. Who knows what's going to happen going forward. The AG has the info to pursue an investigation, and he supposedly is, but who knows?

I did go back and check and some of those Democrats did claim Russia had something to do with getting Trump elected and started claiming fraud. I stand corrected on that. There were also a few recounts started that failed. No widespread fraud found. Jill Stein it seems led that effort for some reason. I don’t remember that.

None of that is even remotely on the scale this past election was though. I don’t recall hoards of Dems in Hillary hats attacking the Capital on certification after she told them to come and act wildly and shouting “Hang Joe Biden!” or Hillary telling election officials to “find” her enough votes. I don’t recall Hillary saying she wouldn’t accept the election results if she lost either. She conceded Nov 9. Trump still hasn’t conceded.

In both elections the bottom line has been that the elections were carried out with very little fraud and certainly not enough to affect an election. Politicians do harm to the US and our Democracy when they claim fraud, especially when there is none and they are making it up for their own personal gain. It’s like flopping in basketball.

It's a dumb false equivalency. Show me where Dems were doing recounts almost a full year after the 2016 election? I'll wait. A few Dems crowed about Russia, but everybody accepted the outcome of the election.

A huge part of Republicans rationalizing their horrendous behavior to themselves is convincing themselves that the other guys are just as bad. If you watch Fox, you'd think that Dems are destroying everything about our country and our way of life. So of course it's justified to become extreme, violent, aggressive, to stop such a menace. Total bullshit.

Yes, Jill Stein pushed and led an effort to do recounts, but that was squashed pretty quickly when she saw that the results weren't coming out like she thought they would.

Jill Stein is not a Democrat. She explicitly ran as a Green Party candidate. Her being in the race may have even helped cost Hillary Clinton the Presidency, since she took some votes away from HRC in key swing states. And Stein was quickly revealed as a grifter who took donation money to do a recount and instead seems to have pocketed most of it for herself.

I never said that she was a Democrat. I thought that was obvious and didn't need to be stated. I agree that she certainly could have taken votes away from Hillary, it's hard to tell exactly how many.
