I think seeing the regression of the US is a big reason why France pushed to codify abortion rights in their constitution. They don't want what's happened to us to happen to them.

Republicans have been openly and passionately anti-abortion for decades. It's not like "Defund the Police" which was never more than a fringe left position.

You were, by implying that IVF ban was an extension of being pro-life, when the vast majority of Reps do not believe that. Even though you didn't say IVF, it was in regards to the Alabama ruling.
