To be fair, it's his *former* spiritual advisor, so maybe Trump and his people got the sense that the guy was no good and cut ties with him. Still never good to hear about these minority of religious leaders who abuse their positions and take advantage of underage kids in their congregations.

Spiritual adviser to Trump?

https://www.dailydot.com/debug/robert-m ... -facebook/
In a since-deleted post that has been shared on other platforms, a pastor of a “Christian based non-denominational church” called on people “to not judge Robert Morris because of a mistake he made over 30 years ago.”

“Some young girls at 12 years old are very beautiful and sexy,” the post continued.
Normally, molesting a 12 year old is considered wrong, but I guess it’s OK if she’s hot.

Republicans don't like pedos, right? Here's one:

Yeah, that's too light of a sentence.

This is what they want: to force everyone in the US (or in their states) to conform to Christianity. If you're another religion, or not religious, you can just F right off. Imagine the white hot rage they would feel if somebody tried to, say, force everybody in a US school to read the Quran and wear a hijab to school. This is the same thing.

Next, they'll come into our houses and if you don't have scripture on the wall and a bible prominently displayed in your home, you will be taken away. Even worse if you worship via another religion or not at all. If left unchecked, we are heading to Nazi Germany territory.

Like how can you honestly in 2024 try to mandate the Christian bible or Christian Ten Commandments be posted on every school or courthouse or whatever? What the actual fuck. This country is not just for Christians. I have nothing against Christians or Christianity but anybody trying to force 100% of people to obey their religion can go fuck themselves.

You can’t pray away libido. It’s part of being human. God would know this. Make them make a pact to never ever have sex isn’t very logical to me. It leads to this crap.

It sure as fuck isn’t for Christ-like Christians. If the stories in the Gospels are true, Christ would deplore today’s American Christians.

One of the things that really upsets me about current politics is how it seems to be portrayed as Christian Republicans vs. Secular Democrats. You rarely hear people making the religious argument for progressivism.
