I wonder what it would cost to maintain a moat of alligators 2000 miles long. They aren’t exactly indigenous to the South West deserts.

I guess we can’t accuse him of not thinking outside the box. Drinking bleach was another brilliant idea.

I don't know what Biden is doing. He proposed Supreme Court term limits and mandatory ethics code, which are nice ideas that Biden has absolutely no authority to pass and no chance of getting done. Then when told Mike Johnson considers these proposals "dead on arrival," Biden counters that HE (Johnson) is dead on arrival, which I guess is meant to be a witty quip but sounds vaguely like Biden wants to kill Mike Johnson? Maybe sit this one out, Gramps.

Biden's policies like IRA and CHIPS have led to an increase in US manufacturing.

It certainly is in the Phoenix area.

Umm…wouldn’t May 2020 be before Biden?

His post said a renaissance was happening in chip manufacturing in Phoenix and I said yes it is and sent a link to the site. I don’t think I mentioned Biden, Trump or Harris. I don’t know who was responsible for making that happen. If it makes you feel better I will say it was all Trump.

I think the plant was planned in 2020 but the chips bill came after in 2022.

Welll….. it has taken it hard the last 3 weeks. I sold all my shares Friday and hoping I can bounce back on around $90-$93/share. Nvidia is still the golden boy in my opinion. Earnings are in 3 weeks and with all of these other companies still putting capex into AI…. It’s just a winner, especially with this pull back.

Biden/Harris announce new deal with big pharma to cut the prices of 10 popular prescription drugs. This seems like a good thing.

I haven’t seen that yet. I wouldn’t put it past Trump to claim both sides and just alter his stance depending on who he is talking to.

This is such a weird clip. Joe Biden makes an appearance and runs into a man wearing a red Trump hat. He signs a Biden hat for the man, then the man offers his Trump hat to Biden, and Biden puts it on and wears it. They're all just goofing around, but I'm amazed that Biden was willing to wear a Trump 2024 hat, even for one second. Oh well. In the clip, Biden also says several self-deprecating things about being old and forgetting his own name and so on. He's joking but there's a certain melancholy to it; I bet he is still sad about having to step aside and being seen by the world as being old or senile.
