Meanwhile, care to address this shit? Instead of being a Musk and Trump puppet all the goddamn time!? You've become sad.

I don't know enough about this to address it. Sorry.
This is always your approach so you can conveniently NEVER address these things I or others ask and just move along. You'll never look into any of it enough to address it. If it's counter Trump or the narrative you're touting, it's not worth your time. Utter bullshit. I'm going to stop engaging you.
It’s like Trump constantly claiming ignorance of Project 2025. It’s a major issue of great concern to a lot of voters, so why should a Presidential candidate bother to educate himself about it? Is he really that intellectually lazy, or is he just claiming ignorance because anything he says about it is going to make him look like an asshole? And whichever is the case, how could someone want this as President?

It’s easy to like Trump when you just put on your blindfold for anything he does wrong.
I've noticed a trend here. There are a number of people that feel very empowered to be quite unpleasant and directed towards myself. Do I treat any of you the same way? I think AIG thinks I do, but I never mean to be that way. I apologize if I've been like that to anyone.

You think that it's going to be implemented whether Trump likes it or not?

Have you read the entire thing yourself? For the most part, conservatives always think the government is bloated, so that's nothing new.

I wasn’t trying to be unpleasant toward you…but you do have a habit of ignoring anything questionable about Trump while posting just about anything that makes a Democrat look bad. I would just like you to address the video of Trump saying there will be no need to vote anymore in 4 years.

I know you’ve said there’s no point in criticizing Trump because so many here already have that covered…and while I can understand that, I don’t agree. It makes it hard to trust anything you say or post knowing it will just be pro-Trump and Anti-Democrat. You may not care what I or others think, but I do think it would improve communication here and there’d be less contention…anyways…sorry if you felt I was being unpleasant toward you, that wasn’t my intention.

You're welcome to watch the video, then you might know enough to address it. At least you could give a first impression of what his comment sounds like to you, how you interpret it. If that isn't enough for you to feel like you know enough to address it, you're welcome to look into it further; the context, who he was talking to, what comments he made right before/after this, etc. I think several of us would genuinely like to hear your opinion about it as someone who supports Trump. Do you like these kinds of comments from him? Do you agree with them? What do you think he is trying to say, what does he really mean? Have we misinterpreted him or overreacted?

I can understand the initial outrage, especially after the conditioning of "Trump is a fascist", "Trump is an existential threat to Democracy', and ""Trump is a monster" rhetoric over and over. I personally don't feel the need to go to immediate outrage and lose my mind over it.

There is a tendency to take sound bits out of context, and the media has been known to cut and edit to make him out to be the worst person in the world. Such as the "fine people" hoax and more recently the "bloodbath" hoax that Nadler and Biden repeatedly say.

I'm not perfect, and I certainly make mistakes all the time.

I can't say that I saw much to any push back on anything Biden did, until it became obvious it was a losing effort. So I didn't see any reason to get upset that the people posting here were entirely partisan.

I do understand your frustration, if you feel someone isn't being honest or wouldn't criticize things that seem obvious to be upset about.

Lastly, I wasn't directing my comments about being unpleasant at you specifically, but moreso of a general sentiment here in the past week, since Harris was annointed presumptive Candidate.

Ya there wasn’t much pushback on Biden until the debate…I agree there…it’s a problem for both sides…just more noticeable with you since you’re generally the only Republican voice in here…though we have seen a few more recently…I hope that continues. I think more voices across the spectrum is good.

Personally, I doubt he’s as ignorant as he claims. I think he supports it and just doesn’t want to admit it. But for the sake of discussion, I’m willing to stipulate that his claimed ignorance is genuine.

Like one of the quotes I have, "if we all think alike, then no one is thinking". That only happens in Communist countries, and dehumanizing people in history, that don't agree 100% with the prevailing thought leads to death and suffering eventually of that opposing voice.

If it's not his plan, then there isn't really any reason for him to waste his time on it. He has said that it's not his plan, but that's not good enough for people.

Have you ever thought that it's being blown up out of proportion to demonize the opposition? If that is the case it's worked wonderfully. Just judging from your own reaction to what you think you know about it, you are incredibly outraged about it. Forgive me if I'm reading your reaction to it incorrectly.

Yes, a Presidential candidate educating himself on issues that concern the voters is “wasting time.”

It’s a testament to Trump’s awesomeness and a roadmap to his dictatorship. You really think he hasn’t learned about its contents?

Trump saying he has never heard of Project 2025 is laughable. Almost as laughable as him never hearing of the Proud Boys. E Jean Carrol? Never heard of her. Stormy Daniels? Doesn’t sound familiar. Fake electors? I know nothing about that.
In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not gonna have to vote.

If he isn't going to implement it, why does it worry you? It's like someone being worried about me driving a unicycle naked through your house. I have no desire or plans to learn how to drive a unicycle or drive anything through your house, nor would I ever show up naked for anything. It would be irrational and a waste of time for me to inform myself on something like that.

You clearly have no problem posting conspiracy bullshit you don't bother looking into. You share AI generated nonsense. You're a low quality, garbage poster on the Politics portion of this site.
AIG, what else did you expect? The anti reality field is strong with hard core MAGA folks. It is a tragedy, really.

You think that it's going to be implemented whether Trump likes it or not?

Have you read the entire thing yourself? For the most part, conservatives always think the government is bloated, so that's nothing new.
You think it’s OK that Trump continues to proclaim ignorance? Why do you want a President who refuses to educate himself on issues that concern voters and proudly proclaims his ignorance?

Personally, I doubt he’s as ignorant as he claims. I think he supports it and just doesn’t want to admit it. But for the sake of discussion, I’m willing to stipulate that his claimed ignorance is genuine.
Trump knows very well all about Project 2025.

NEW: Investigative journalist Seymour Hersh suggests Barack Obama threatened Biden with the 25th Amendment, saying he had "Kamala's approval" to force him out of the 2024 race.

Holy sh*t.

Hersh says Obama was "deeply involved" with the alleged coup and called Biden after his "incident" in Las Vegas.

"I went over [reports] this week with a senior official in Washington who helped me fashion an account of a White House in complete disarray," Hersh said.

"Obama called Biden after breakfast [on July 20] and said, 'Here’s the deal. We have Kamala’s approval to invoke the 25th Amendment,'" a senior Washington official told Hersh.

Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and Hakeem Jeffries were reportedly directly involved.

Obama's plan was to not immediately endorse Kamala but it was clear that she would "get the nod" and it was determined that her being a prosecutor would help in debates.

"[Obama] had an agenda and he wanted to seek it through to the end, and he wanted to have control over who would be elected."

This is called a coup.

Even if that is true, why do we care? It was clear Biden wasn’t fit to be president…they wanted him to step down rather than have to embarrass him more by removing him.
