It’s like Trump constantly claiming ignorance of Project 2025. It’s a major issue of great concern to a lot of voters, so why should a Presidential candidate bother to educate himself about it? Is he really that intellectually lazy, or is he just claiming ignorance because anything he says about it is going to make him look like an asshole? I wasn’t trying to be unpleasant toward you…but you do have a habit of ignoring anything questionable about Trump while posting just about anything that makes a Democrat look bad. I would just like you to address the video of Trump saying there will be no need to vote anymore in 4 years.In2ition wrote: ↑Sat Jul 27, 2024 12:09 pmI've noticed a trend here. I know you’ve said there’s no point in criticizing Trump because so many here already have that covered…and while I can understand that, I don’t agree. It makes it hard to trust anything you say or post knowing it will just be pro-Trump and Anti-Democrat. You may not care what I or others think, but I do think it would improve communication here and there’d be less contention…anyways…sorry if you felt I was being unpleasant toward you, that wasn’t my intention.
Re: Harris 2024
You're welcome to watch the video, then you might know enough to address it. At least you could give a first impression of what his comment sounds like to you, how you interpret it. If that isn't enough for you to feel like you know enough to address it, you're welcome to look into it further; the context, who he was talking to, what comments he made right before/after this, etc. I think several of us would genuinely like to hear your opinion about it as someone who supports Trump. Do you like these kinds of comments from him? Do you agree with them? What do you think he is trying to say, what does he really mean? Have we misinterpreted him or overreacted?
Re: Harris 2024
I can understand the initial outrage, especially after the conditioning of "Trump is a fascist", "Trump is an existential threat to Democracy', and ""Trump is a monster" rhetoric over and over. I personally don't feel the need to go to immediate outrage and lose my mind over it.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Sat Jul 27, 2024 12:44 pmYou're welcome to watch the video, then you might know enough to address it. There is a tendency to take sound bits out of context, and the media has been known to cut and edit to make him out to be the worst person in the world. Such as the "fine people" hoax and more recently the "bloodbath" hoax that Nadler and Biden repeatedly say.
I'm not perfect, and I certainly make mistakes all the time.

Just judging from your own reaction to what you think you know about it, you are incredibly outraged about it. Forgive me if I'm reading your reaction to it incorrectly.

NEW: Investigative journalist Seymour Hersh suggests Barack Obama threatened Biden with the 25th Amendment, saying he had "Kamala's approval" to force him out of the 2024 race.
Holy sh*t.
Hersh says Obama was "deeply involved" with the alleged coup and called Biden after his "incident" in Las Vegas.
"I went over [reports] this week with a senior official in Washington who helped me fashion an account of a White House in complete disarray," Hersh said.
"Obama called Biden after breakfast [on July 20] and said, 'Here’s the deal. We have Kamala’s approval to invoke the 25th Amendment,'" a senior Washington official told Hersh.
Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and Hakeem Jeffries were reportedly directly involved.
Obama's plan was to not immediately endorse Kamala but it was clear that she would "get the nod" and it was determined that her being a prosecutor would help in debates.
"[Obama] had an agenda and he wanted to seek it through to the end, and he wanted to have control over who would be elected."
This is called a coup.
