I saw plenty of Troy Brown. He has the size and talent to eventually be a starter, but it's going to take some time to become a consistent player. I doubt he'll ever be more than an average shooter, but I think of him as a more well rounded DeMar Derozan.
That's high praise to me and I don't know if you meant it haha. His certainly is big.

Honestly, I'm not convinced we're keeping the 16th pick.

Yep, trading it for an even higher pick. (I hope.)

I would like to think so, but I am not sure we have anything other people want. We keep saying we are going to make a move in FA this year, which means we can't really take back a bad deal and still be in the market. So if we move up, that means we likely have to give up a player that has value; that isn't likely to be Chriss, Bender, Ulis, Jared, Tyson or Knight.

I didn't mean he will be an All-Star level player. I'm saying he'll occupy a similar role, but with less scoring and better defense and more ball handling or play making.

If Melton can shoot, he's real interesting

The Ringer has us taking Ayton at #1 but SGA at #16! Woo. It's him or Holiday for me.

I'm not all that excited by Holiday. He seems fine, but to me he tops out as a good backup and we've got enough backup PGs on this team. SGA is a much more enticing prospect to me. Bonus point to him for being Canadian.

I'm with you on SGA over Holiday, but I really think they trade away 16 for a good/great vet while dumping expiring contracts. I'd love to get Wall as the engine of the offense next to Booker feeding the rest of the team for easy buckets and having a real big in Ayton and athletic pf like Chriss redeeming himself.

In2, you're killing me this offseason. First Trae Young, now John Wall? Absolutely killing me.

Why don't you like John Wall? Asking for a friend.

John Wall doesn’t suck, though he’s probably not a logical target for us because he would cost us a lot in trade and his contract is .

In 2022-23 he makes $47M!

I also don't think he's a great fit next to Booker.

It is, I agree. But it doesn't mean he wouldn't have value on this particular team in the right conditions.

The right conditions being the Wiz realize what a mistake they made, buy him out, and then he signs with us as a FA at a reasonable salary.

 That would be very nice of the Wiz.
