BTW, my Dad and Mom were Suns season ticket holders from 1969 until Sarver bought the team. I just want to say about that,

1. If Sarver weren't such an asshole, he wouldn't have lost those season tickets sales.

2. If Sarver weren't such a fuck up, my Dad probably would have gotten to see the Suns win a championship before he died.

Yep, it's a real drag. My Dad never got to experience a Suns championship either. At least he got to experience the DBacks championship. He was born in Illinois so I wish he had been around for the Cubs championship.

Sorry to hear this.

Mine passed away 11 years ago, and you're never prepared for it when it comes.

Condolences to you and your family.

I guess it's my turn. I'm at the hospital for my dad. He's in the ICU. They said it's "the beginning of the end."

Last night at 2 in the morning we had to meet as a family to decide if we would let them put him on a respirator. Then today his NG tube is out and he's up & talking. It's practically a miracle. A dramatic recovery from the state he was in. He still has 3 forms of cancer and is terminal but at least we have a little more time. Now to get him to sign the darn living will.

He passed this morning at the age of 61. The last month was not as fruitful as I hoped as he was very ill.

So sorry for your loss, Carey. Cancer sucks. I lost my mom to breast cancer 5 years ago.

Cap, how are you holding up? I'm a pretty big mess. I keep reaching for my phone to text him every time I see something Saints related. He was a big NFL/Saints fan and we talked about them every day during the season.
