I’m pretty sure Warren doesn’t pass the ball because he’s terrible at it.

Warren really needs to learn how to throw the ball to warren when he’s all by himself under the rim. Not asking for any complex passing, just the simple lob or drop off pass.
Pass to himself? I'd be impressed

I’m sure that’s the case, but warren was at the 3 point line and Ayton was directly under the hoop with no one within 10 feet of him. He’s just got to throw the ball in the air near the hoop.

Yeah, that was an egregious missed pass

in his defense, none of our guys really pass to ayton. unless you include lobby it up blindly in the paint when he is surrounded by 3 defenders.

poor effort, bad rebounding, horrid defense.... I'm running out of adjectives to describe how shitty they're playing.

We finished at 53% from the field, almost 50% from 3, but you gotta play defense and grab some rebounds.

And you can't wait until you're down 20+ points at halftime before you start putting up any resistance.

18 defensive rebounds for us, 16 offensive rebounds for LA. Pretty embarrassing

So what next?

I dont mind starting Oubre after this many terrible 1st Quarters. Or at least sub the starters out early if they are struggling. Too much outside shooting tonight when it wasnt going. we could have looked to ayton or booker inside. Even jackson did a few little things down low.

One thing is trying to get melton more aggressive on offense. He has some play making but recently he is either being too timid. We badly need dribble penetration.
Ayton with a limp dick game tonight. But its also on his teammates and coach for not getting him more involved on O. I really wish we would go to him more early. Otherwise you saw tonight that other team just collapses on booker

18 points, 13 rebounds, 80% fg. In other words, pretty average numbers for a starting center against the Suns.

I had 14th row seats and a great view of this “lesson” for the Suns.
Team started well, but then began missing shots—good looks, though—and got discouraged quickly. Getting discouraged, they lost a step on defense and the Clippers made them pay by finding the open man and hitting the shot. At one point in the second quarter, LA was shooting 71%.
Point Book was a failure tonight. The Clippers double-teamed often, with different guys coming out harassing him. He started making bad passes and stupid fouls.
Ayton looked awful. I heard the post-game show on the radio, and the callers and the host said he wasn’t getting the ball enough. That's BS. He wasn’t getting himself open and. when he did get a pass, he’d fumble the ball or hold onto it too long and have it poked away by weakside help. Was not impressed with his hands. On defense, Gortat made him look silly.
Bridges was schooled by Harris and Gallinari. They’re both offensive machines, and they took advantage of Bridges’ inexperience.
Melton had his moments, as did Oubre and Crawford, especially in the second half for Crawford. Shots weren’t dropping for TJ in the first quarter, but he warmed up in the second half.
Clippers looked impressive, and go about 10 deep. Harrell and Gortat were effective in the post—Marjanovic didn’t even get off the bench. I’m wondering how they will find minutes for Mbah a Moute when he is ready to play.
Back to the Suns. They need a good point guard, and Ayton needs a lot of work.
Window is open again ... blue skies ahead?

The team in general gets a D- for ball movement/passing.
Sloppy passes and telegraphed movement that smart teams can feast on.
