Any chance Mike D'Antoni gets fired if he loses in the second round to the Warriors?
0% chance.
What if they get swept? I could see him getting fired.
OK, 1% chance.

McD bringing more heat here than he did during his whole time as a GM:

"Business as usual for the Suns"? Does he realize he was a huge part of what created the "Usual Business"??

He was bad at building a cohesive team, but I am not sure he created the usual business of hiring and firing front office folks like this.

I've had second thoughts about Monty Williams. I think he could be a pretty good hire, but I still don't think he'll take the job.

Suns twitter was pushing the notion that since Monty and KD have a strong history, it might help him sign her this summer...

He may take the job if LA hires someone else.

I have a bridge to sell those people.

I like that Monty Williams comes across as a bit of a hard ass and I think a lot of the young players, including Booker, need that sort of leadership at this time.

I don't disagree that we need someone to be more of a father figure than a brother.

For what it's worth, Vanterpool is one of the more highly regarded assistants in the league. Igor had the same rep, though.

All of them? Just gone? Not a single person on the staff was deemed to have done a good job?

Good to know we have no coaching staff or scouting staff as we get ready for the draft.

Larry Fitzgerald has it covered.

Apparently it's not just the assistant coaches?! Basically the whole organization was fired?!
The assistant coaches include Joe Prunty, Corliss Williamson, Jamelle McMillan and Jason Staudt, in addition to other basketball operations personnel, training staff, coaches and analysts.

Next we'll hear that Al McCoy wants to come back for another season, but Sarver fired him.

You fire the head coach, you gotta remove the staff too. Let the new coach bring in his own staff.

Yeah, agreed if you fire the HC you fire his assistants. It was just really weird to see that we fired training staff and analysts, especially considering we haven't replaced the scouting staff we fired when Ryan was canned.

It’s the most Sterlingesque thing I’ve seen since Sterling.
