Have you always disliked LeBron or only because you root for the warriors a bit?
The Decision is what did it for me. Ever since then I have strongly disliked the guy. I see him as manipulative and a bad teammate, often throwing other players under the bus. I don't like how he plays GM behind the scenes and how he hired all his buddies to turn them into a super powerful agency to exert influence on the league. And the Decision was a debacle oozing with hubris. I have rooted for him to fail ever since.

Don't worry about the goat kenneled in your office. Ryan will be by to pick her up next time he's in town.

Yeah, kind of puzzling. Maybe they're waiting until the 76ers are out of the playoffs?

If that's your first target, the guy at the top of the list and you've met with him twice....how do you leave without him signing a contract? And I don't even think Monty's some coaching guru, but if that's your guy you have to go get him.

I am assuming they said something like, "look, I know you are a dedicated coach and want to focus on your team in the playoffs. Whenever this journey is over, call us and we will give you an offer. If you get an offer before then, call us. We want you to be our head coach and are willing to show you that by beating any offer you get."

This is really encouraging. I no next to nothing about the guy, but it would be really nice to get their top choice, and to have that top choice have some head coaching experience (even if he did have a low winning %).

I'm assuming Sarver said something like, "Look, I can go as high as $800k/yr here, but I need to wait until I get my tax refund. How's your June?"

In seriousness, I don't know if I love the idea of Monty Williams as our coach, but I think I would prefer somebody who has been an HC before over the Portland assistant guy or other newbie coaches. I think a steady hand who has been there before would be better for this young and turbulent team.

I mean hey we haven't had a winning % that high in ages!
