I think Millsap has one more year on his deal.
He does, but it’s a team option. He might push them into the luxury tax...and they do have Michael Porter Jr waiting to play
Oh, I didn't realize it was an option. That's a lot of money, but he's playing very well for them in the playoffs.

Kawhi has been unreal in the playoffs
It is just ridiculous what he is doing. He is averaging over 30 points per game with less than 20 FGAs per game. I don't know how to search for that in just the playoffs, but if he did that in the regular season, he would be only the 3rd guy ever behind Karl Malone and Adrian Dantley.

In TOR/PHI, I find myself rooting for the Raptors. I don't dislike Philly but I guess I don't think they are ready yet. I want them to keep growing and getting better and be a contender in a year or two. I like Embiid and Simmons a lot, but I don't care as much for Butler and the others. Toronto feels built to win now. I like Kawhi and Marc Gasol and Lowry and Siakam (not a rookie!) and Danny Green and a lot of their other guys. I really wanted the ECF to be Bucks/Raptors but I'll settle for Bucks/Sixers; both would be good series. I think either way Milwaukee will be in the Finals.

As for Nuggets/Blazers, that series has been really fun. Obviously there was the 4OT thriller, but each game has just had lots of fun little matchups and back-n-forths. Enjoying watching Jokic in extended minutes; he is so crafty and clever with the ball. I just love seeing the weird passes and flicks he comes up with. I don't like when he goes outside and starts chucking 3s and long 2s, but oh well. And Jamal Murray has become quite a player. Won't bring up that draft again, but really happy the Nugs found a piece like that. They have a lot of other sneaky good players like Harris and Millsap, just a bunch of workhorses doing their roles. Nice team.

The Blazers are exciting; Dame Lillard has given us some great moments already, McCollum is right there with him in terms of being a big shot-maker, and they have a lot of good glue guys too such as Aminu, Harkless, Kanter, Hood, Curry. Seems like everybody in both teams' rotations gets what their job is and likes to play together. Fun series. I don't think either team has a shot at making the Finals and will get torn up by the Warriors in the WCF, but it's still really fun to see them go at it.

LOL . Shaq and Reggie don't appear together in many statistical groupings.

thanks--I couldn't see that filter for the life of me. I swear I spent 5 minutes reading and re-reading that list without seeing it.

interesting to see that Reggie didn't get out of the first round that year, and Shaq was swept by the Jazz in the Western Finals (so he kept that average up for 3 series!).

I read that the combination of PPG and eFG that he's putting up in this series has never been done in any playoff series ever.

Yeah, the closest are Wade and LeBron, but Kwahi is the only guy to put up +30 and +65% eFG ever.

You don't get a nickname like Birdman without being an all time great.

IMO, WS is a flawed stat in that it values FG% and rebounds too much.

Ya it can be broken a bit...it’s how Rudy Gobert was 2nd in WS this year. He’s crazy efficient as a shooter, because he only attempts dunks.

The warriors finally came alive there in the 4th...they need to play with that fire/urgency or I think the rockets win this series.

I wish GSW lost, but I don't have any hopes for HOU, though. Something will happen that will bail out GSW. Refs, injuries, choking, some miracle shot, whatever. This has all the same vibes than our battles against SAS.

Last night looked to me like Houston playing with an emotional desperation that they won't be able to maintain.

I won't harp on this a ton, but watching Clint Capela sit over half the game (you can't beat a good perimeter team playing a true center) just reminds me of how much I hate that we picked Ayton. Dude would be a huge liability in the playoffs.

Maybe watching Embiid can help.
