I know it's hard to remember what we all do IRL but I'm disabled (no income) so just going to a sports medicine specialist is easier said than done because of my lack of resources. I will see what I can do though and rest him the next week in the meanwhile to see if that helps.
I’m also disabled and on Medicare, and as recently as a few years ago had a sports medicine specialist as my PCP. Not that I needed it, he just happened to be the closest doctor to my home. So my guess is that it is possible. Only way to know is to contact your insurance company. Do you have a Medicare Advantage or Medigap plan, or just the bare bones?
He is on Medicaid not Medicare. It's also his own plan. Not under me or his mom. I'm going to have to check what they cover.

Singh (doesn't post much anymore) is a doc (I think internal medicine?) and Saucy is a doc (emergency med?).

Singh doesn't post much anymore, but perhaps he lurks.

I think saucy is around a bit more often. :P
Yes I sent him a PM but rehabilitation/PT from chronic injuries is not really in my realm
what exactly is your realm?

You are correct I am emergency med.

Acute management and stabilization of fractures/dislocations and send for follow up with the appropriate specialties.

But I don’t follow people through their rehab

Got it. So it is likely never going to be reasonable to send you a PM asking for advice since if we are in the middle of a fracture/dislocation we shouldn't be waiting for a response on a message board. :P

I'm shutting him down for a week and then will reassess. That should tell me if it's fatigue or something else. Last night I had to put in a different catcher because he could barely throw back to the pitcher. I hate that this is during what is probably his last little league year but what can you do?

Does he play catcher too?

Pitcher and catcher at the same time. That's a talented kid.

Off topic but do we have a doctor on the board? I wanted to hit someone up with questions about my son who is experiencing some arm pain when he throws. I have taken him off the mound already and I am unsure if I should shut him down completely, move him to a position that sees much less use in 12-year-old baseball or just have him ice it after every game and practice.
Not a doctor myself, at least that kind of doctor. I do have a good friend who is an orthopedic hand and arm specialist. She has treated a number of Suns, Coyotes, and Cardinals players. You ought to take him in to see her. She is top notch.

I'm not trying to speak for Carey, but unless he your friend lives in NO, that might not be possible.

My son played QB and developed shoulder pain after his freshman year. After MRIs and specialists, we ended up taking him to a PT specialist in Scottsdale that works with a lot of the best Tennis players in the world and travels to all the majors. He was able to diagnose the problem and get him back in shape to where when he was testing him by having him throw the football to him, my son ended up breaking his fingers when he tried to catch it. Felt bad for the guy, and my son decided to quit playing(for other reasons), which broke my heart.

Ha. He plays catcher for me at the playground and pitches every other game or was supposed to anyway but the arm pain started up after his first start this season. For his school team he has caught some, played 2B and LF. The school field is a HS one. Maybe his body hasn't adjusted to the continuous long throws.
Go Suns!

He's doing a great job of redefining "Scary Terry".

He is kind of right. He probably sacrificed a lot of money with his awful play this season.

He seemed like he had a bad playoffs, though I haven't checked his stats. When I saw him play, nothing I saw made me think, "I want that guy as my starting PG next year." Especially not for big money.

A Twitter discussion I saw on my timeline had a bunch of people thinking he should get around $10M/year. I'm sure someone will pay him that, but I also think it's a terrible idea.

$10m/year isn't much. I don't think that would be an awful deal for him in today's CBA. But I don't know if he is a starting PG.

I'm not as down on Rozier as most, but I think I'd rather go hard after Brogdon for that kind of money (assuming we don't get Morant). McConnell would also be a good fill-in till we find a long-term solution.

Now, if we were to get Zion, I think I would do my best to get Kemba Walker. Walker, Booker, Zion, Ayton, and (Oubre/Jackson/Bridges/Warren)... that's a really good team out there....
