Free Agent Targets
Re: Free Agent Targets
rubio would be perfect for this team. it will force booker to play off the ball more.
i think rubio, TJ, jerome is a good 1, 2 , 3 at the PG position.

I love Tyus Jones as an option over Rozier. Jones is sort of like Patrick Beverly, if Beverly was 23 instead of 31. Rozier is another knucklehead who can't shoot, and his metrics are really mediocre to bad across the board. We'll end up hating him.INFORMER wrote: ↑Sat Jun 29, 2019 6:13 pmI feel like Tyus Jones would be better than Rozier. Rozier has never shot 40%. In four seasons. Plus, he has a bit of an attitude...I think his success in the 2018 playoffs went to his head. I think Rozier is better defensively than Jones, but I just trust Jones's attitude and play-making more.

100% prefer Jones over Rozier. I hope Scary Terry indeed goes to CHA.

This.
Az republic had a great article yesterday detailing different ways Suns could get enough cap space to sign D Lo if they were so inclined. The big takeaway they go over luxury tax in certain scenarios.
Suns have the cap space. They just have a cheap owner.

Re: Free Agent Targets
Cook can shoot, but is he much of a pg? How is he defensively?
Re: Free Agent Targets
His advanced defensive numbers aren't great. Maybe we're looking for a combo/shooter at PG and he's definitely got the resume.
Re: Free Agent Targets
Gambo said we are looking for a pg, sg & center
Re: Free Agent Targets
Either the Suns are just chilling or they're not showing their hand to anyone including Gambo.
Re: Free Agent Targets
Love Shane Larkin and saw he was interested in coming back to the NBA. I don't know that he's a starter but he's a rotation guy for sure IMO.

At least all the NFL guys think we’re getting D-Lo

What's really sad is we're hearing NOTHING...

You're not impressed with our tight-lipped, hold their cards to their vests, new front office?

We didn't hear about Tyson Chandler or Trevor Ariza in advance either.

Re: Free Agent Targets
A lot of these various rumors get leaked by front office or agents to gauge reaction. If there aren't any rumors about the Suns right now, that may mean we aren't up to much. Or it could just mean that no party involved is trying to test reactions to the deals they're working on. There is some DLo/Suns stuff out there, so I think one side or the other is checking on that. But I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
