Wow, Boston and Miami are doing their best impersonations of western conference teams.

Is it weird that I would be more excited about a defensive or playmaking highlight reel?

Maybe he's trying to get that shoe contract. I think he's a free agent this season as far as shoe contract goes. Probably don't hand those out to playmaking and defenders.

Handles looking GREAT! Really liking the crossover. Tight, low. Very nice! Go Booker.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

He must have missed that shot after he shook his man otherwise they would have shown it.

What do you guys think of Booker opting out of USA basketball this year? On the one hand, I think he could have starred on the team but on the other hand, I'm glad he's not risking further injury and is hopefully getting his body right for the Phoenix Suns and the upcoming season.

I have changed my mind about this over the years, at least for players of a certain age. Guys who go to the Olympics always learn and improve from it. He would have gotten to be taught by Pop, the best there is. He would have been around a bunch of other winners. I wish he had gone but maybe played reduced minutes.

I have two words for this. Paul George.

Is this the team that will go to the 2020 Olympics or will they get another chance for that team? Although, I would think pulling out of 2019 would hurt their chances maybe?

I guess they told the guys that are going to the 2019 World Cup that this doesn't give them a guarantee to be on the Olympic team. Part of the reason that guys like CJ said he declined it, with it being so close to the start of training camp.

Good to know. I'd like to see Booker on the Olympic team if possible.

Or maybe some young players are more likely overvalue empty stats and care less about team success?

For whatever their reasons, he's one of their favorite players in the league.

This was posted on the Suns Instagram page today - one of the biggest plays in Suns history, this block by Gar Heard sent the series against Golden State in 1976 to a game 7 which the Suns won, sending them to their first Finals -

It wouldn't be phxsuns.net without denigrating our players.
