Guys, are we sure Luke Walton is a good coach?

His offense looked like garbage as soon as Hield stopped hitting every shot and his rotations were questionable. Trevor Ariza played 21 minutes.

I think he's still eating off of that successful stint with one of the greatest teams of all time.
Yeah, that same tought striked me somewhere in the 3rd, there wasn’t any adjustments on their part to secure the lead after halftime, while we were slowly taking control of the game, then we open the big lead and they still didn’t adjust at all.

Wow, what a home opener! It’s only one game but, what a game. They played some defense and the bench looks like it is going to do some serious damage this year. I sure hope this isn’t a fluke. Only time will tell. As good a start as you could ever hope for.

virtual’s prediction doesn’t look so crazy now.
Let's see. Last year we looked good in Game 1.

The Sackotomato Kings need to learn some humility. The Suns need to post all that stuff on their lockers. Maybe I can make up a fake one, fax it to the Suns and they can put it on Aytons locker.”Kings Center Dewayne Dedmon calls Ayton a total puzzy and says he can’t wait to posterize him.”
Seriously, did they forget that they are the Kings?
They were reminded tonight. And humility they learned in spades.

This thread is starting to read like a Monty Python sketch.
No it isn’t.

My cousin picked up two tickets in the 5th row for $65 a piece an hour ago. Remember when Phoenix was a Suns town?
Time to get back to it.

Love the start of the game. Great passing, cutting, movement without the ball. Defense looks very tight and Ayton's engaged. We look like a pro team.
What a difference from a year ago. How many of you missed having Ariza on our team after seeing him on the court tonight?

I love Rubio. His shooting has been bad, but I love the passing.

Oubre not making me happy overall. Hope he will get in the gym and practice his 3s.

Passing and defense. Are we sure this isn't just some other team wearing Suns jerseys?

If they're gonna play like this all year......

We are up 26 points holy smokes!
When was the last time the Suns had this big of lead???? It feels like years. Jesus Christ.
Suns won by 21 in the opener last year, so...
I’m trying to temper my enthusiasm because of this. Very rough schedule on the horizon.

Good to see another 25 point blow out at the TSR with Igor involved
Igor and Holmes wanted to win badly. Ariza? Eh, he sucks!

Best part is Suns did this while struggling with their shot in the first half. It wasn’t just a fluke game raining 3s
Absolutely!!

And looking back the first pages, it’s funny how so many posters were ready to jump off the cliff and started piling up on people. We are going to need more patience with this team, I know it’s been forever, but we are still a work in progress, specially with so many new pieces. There’s going to be more lapses like that first half, but hopefully even more like the second.

Go Suns, now let’s do this 81 more times!!!
Man, James Jones must be grinning ear to ear. What a change he’s made in this team in his first official year as GM!

This game relieved some fears I've had about our rookies. Kaminsky and Saric had plenty of open looks due to the great ball movement. I have high hopes that Cam will be much more deadly than either of the guys who played tonight.

OTOH, I thought Kaminsky and Saric did well in other areas of the game that I'm not sure Cam is ready for, so it'll be interesting to see how Monty handles that going forward.
