Game Day: Clippers (2-0) @ Suns (1-1), Sat 10/26/19

Post by Superbone »

Time: 7:00 pm AZ (7:00 pm PT/10:00 pm ET)
Place: Talking Stick Resort Arena, Phoenix, AZ
TV: FSAZ, NBATV

Of course we have to fly home after an OT game to play maybe the best team in the NBA that has been waiting in Phoenix after a day off.

Go Suns!!!

Life’s a bitch.
In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not gonna have to vote.

Strangely I have hope for this game while I think clippers lay an egg this time. They are hyped as hell, to the point of arrogancy. Beverly thinks he is some kind of basketball guru or god. Hate him so much.

I think we have a letdown and get blown out. We'll have a hangover from last night, which is why getting the win would've been so important.

Good news is the Clips don't have a lot of bigs. Bad news is that Harrell is an athletic, energetic big who can give us some problems.

I'm excited to see how our bench handles Williams / Harrell. Those guys are crazy good together going back to last season.

I don't have the energy right now to go read the game thread from yesterday, so I am just going to say I hope for the same effort tonight.

I hope Coach will give Bridges more minutes in this game. Mikal has been kind of a forgotten man in our first 2 games so far. I hope Monty Williams gives him a chance.

Any word on whether either of our rooks will play yet? I want to see them out there on the court.

Sorry if I keep harping on this  lol but I'm just really appreciating the maturity and thought process in every player interview I'm seeing and it's showing up in their play.
The getting after it on D is refreshing and just the willingness to keep scrapping I great. Really feel like we have a resilient bunch this year. So just like last night, we're once again playing a formidable team and I can't fault those who concerned we get blown out but they might just not back down again tonight

That's something I meant to mention in the thread about the game last night. Booker wasn't tired going into OT like he has been in the past. No pink cheeks, no heavy breathing, no holding his shorts. He had a bad shooting night, but it wasn't because he wore out his legs and lungs carrying the team.

Sigh

If Cam is active will be good to see if he's knocking down shots from his first game
