I like the energy Oubre is bringing. We need his attitude and athleticism in our otherwise somewhat taciturn and ground-bound lineup.

Rubae somehow has 10 boards but only 3 assists. He's had several drives where he goes under the basket and gets into trouble, leading to getting blocked or losing the ball.

Booker keeping us in it with a great game so far, 22 points on 6-11 shooting.

Butler is having a crazy game and seems like he can't miss. I wish we would throw more coverage at him to slow him down. Or something.

I wish one of our two power forwards were having a good game. Kaminsky continues his vanishing act, and Saric is shooting 3-9.

This probably just isn’t our game today. Hopefully they can make up it with a win against the lakers. ;)

Yeah, our defense wasn't quite as sharp as it's been, but Butler and Dragic were on fire today and it just started to spread to the rest of the team.

Well, we're going to have to figure out how to deal with 2 defenders trapping Booker at the top of the key.

This is the type of game where they really miss Ayton.

Not enough defense, and they missed having another scorer.

I’m only half way through the 2nd quarter in a very frustrating 10 points down but I have to give it up to the Miami broadcast crew. They are fair and balanced and have good things to say about our guys. Very rare that the opposing broadcast is enjoyable to listen to.

Welp.. we weren't going to be 5-2 forever, no matter what the outcome. On to the next one.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

I was thinking that, too. They really needed a reliable second scorer tonight, preferably one who would get some Heat players in foul trouble. Ayton would have brought that. Baynes gave us a very respectable 23 points, but it never felt like he was a focal point in the offense or made openings for others.

Not really any one guy to blame for this loss, IMO. Some guys should have given us more; for example, I just don't know if Saric is the right starting PF for a good team. He's often just kind of out there not making an impact. I hear analysts and people on Twitter seeing that he does a lot of little things, but mostly I don't see it. He was 3-9 tonight (2-7 on 3s) for 9 points and 4 rebounds. I feel like most nights Bender could have given us whatever Saric gives us. And with Kaminsky back down to earth, we don't have anybody to sub in when Saric isn't playing well.

The good news is that until about 5 minutes to go it still felt as if we could win this, despite being down the entire game.
I wouldn't be surprised if we were 11-6 by Thanksgiving (which is right before the toughest 13 game stretch of the season and 10 games before Ayton returns)

That was early. I pulled off the Jersey soon after and had the Phx-Suns.Net logo on my T.Shirt the rest of the game. If you go back to the pregame show outside before the game at or near 7 I made an attempt to show off the logo and thought I was successful.

It was an awesome event even though freaking Dragic and Butler rained on my parade. Those tickets I found out gave me access to the tunnel and the free buffet and drinks the whole game. I got stuck there right before half time because they close the tunnel for the players. I set up shop Inside the buffet area and got video of them all walking past to the locker room.

My buddy thought I was a little creepy from the pictures I took but, so be it. It was so awesome being right there. I could hear their trash talk.

The Suns had that defeated look on their faces early. They just didn’t have it. Dragon and Herro really wanted this for obvious reasons.

Flush it.

It’s not unreasonable to say that it may take him more time to gel out there. He’s still finding his shot and where he can get his points in the offense. Both he and Frank pass on shots they should take.
