The last of my dark hairs are turning grey.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

No need to rush a three, when he had plenty of time to pass it into the lane to Ayton.

They really didn't execute well offensively in the last minute.

Best shot we could get with 5 seconds was a heave

Absolutely terrible shot.

It was a well designed play, but Booker has to assume that Aldridge will step out on him. Make one more move or get it to Ayton in the paint.

Oof. How is that the shot we get out of a timeout? Proud of them for coming back, but tough loss.

There’s no reason to rush a 3. Devin wanted to be the hero but wanted to do it in dramatic fashion. It was selfish, plain and simple. Learning experience for sure.

He makes it and we're talking about how amazing he is. Best ever. Yadda yadda. I'm sure that's the way it was designed. It clearly wasn't a good look and a tough shot. To call him selfish, plan and simple, on what was probably drawn up for him is a bit of a stretch.

Pretty decent numbers. If he'd just box out though ;)

Agree to disagree. If he made it, great. I would be jumping out my seat. Doesn’t mean it isn’t a poor shot selection. It reeked of hero ball. I kinda hope it wasn’t designed play because what a horrible play call that was. At the end of the day that’s shot isn’t why we lost and Devin almost single handily brought us back. I love Devin, this dude deserves the all-star game. Just reminder this team still has a ways to go. I’m really encouraged by Devin and Ayton going forward tho.

Well, they had out-rebounded their opponents 49.3-36.7 over those three games - think how big the advantage would be if he "boxed out"!

This was especially frustrating to me because there was no reason to switch up the starting lineup other than to make sure Kelly was happy. That just sends a message that Monty lets individual players come before the team.

Bridges played like shit off the bench as did everyone else.

Are we going to play the starters all second half every game now or is James Jones going to trade for some players?

The offensive foul by Oubre and the missed free throw by Rubio are what killed them down the stretch. But yes, it was a terrible shot.

Oubre was terrible but he is also coming off an concussion so I think we should give him a pass this game.

We all recognize that they desperately need a shooter/scorer off the bench.

Just talking about it isn't enough though.

Ate some frozen tequitos (well, frozen before I microwaved them), took a nice crap. Still upset that we lost that game. Dammit!

Hope you had some guacamole with that.
