I have loved the difference in Aytons energy and focus out there lately. Got in foul trouble but it felt like he did everything with purpose and that he understood more of what he was going to do. I’m finally seeing the progress I was hoping for
Agreed. He was great tonight. Had some really nice takes on Gobert. Didn't settle for jumpers. Foul trouble was a bummer.

This win was long overdue. The officiating though? Woof.
Go Suns!

Rubio continues to play like the guy the Suns hope he'd be.
Nice scoring balance tonight.
Great win, in Utah(!) in spite of refs, who always call the game as if they are afraid the crowd will lynch them ...
Window is open again ... blue skies ahead?

Oubre with another idiotic taunting technical.
Terrible call...wasn’t even looking at Gobert, said nothing, he does that head nod all the time. Shouldn’t have been a tech.
You do it in front of the defender like that you're going to get it called on you.

Not the first time.
He does it all the time. I’ve never actually seen him get a tech for it. He literally hit Draymond with his hair once when he did it. It never has anything to do with his opponent, it’s just what he does, it’s part of what fuels him.
I caught the highlights on YouTube. That's a technical in the 2020 version of the NBA. 10 years ago, probably not.

Didn't bother me though because I think I counted 6 dunks for Oubre. That's worth a technical foul to me.

Subs come in, doesn’t take long for things to go bad.
I am DONE with Okobo. He refuses to shoot the ball which causes defenses to easily pick off his passes. Carter is looking much better. I'd stop playing Okobo.

We're playing well! I like our ball movement a lot. Maybe Rubio got rested up after all.
Rubio with a MONSTER game. 22 points, 6 boards, 11 assists, 7 steals! Conley, not so much. 8 points, 1 assist.

Carter, Book, Kelly, Cam, Dario have us on a nice run. Cam, Dario and Carter with 3s to push our lead to 10.

Cam's got the best jumper in the game, there I said it. He's an assassin.
Cam was on target tonight!

Nice to be on this side of "shooting the lights out" - shooting 64 percent from 3. Oh and Oubre with the nasty flush after the nice dish from Cam. Wow
Oubre and Rubio both with +31s tonight!

These refs are incredibly bad.
I truly believe that there will be a Donaghey type conspiracy that surfaces some day involving this season. You can’t watch a game right in front of your face and confidently make the calls that are being made. This is happening league wide.
Tonight were the most late calls that I've ever seen in one game. And only one of them benefited the Suns.

I think this was the best win of the season. Great energy from the jump, even though we got down early. Contributions across the board. Played big and small successfully. Refs were awful. 3rd road game in 4 nights. Blowout win in a tough environment. Super satisfying watch. Cherry on top was no Matt Harpring on the Jazz Broadcast.
Great win! Number 24 with only 6 more to go. I've got to give it up to the Jazz announcing crew which I watched tonight. They weren't annoying as a Suns fan. They were pretty impartial, for the most part, too.

Interesting matchup tonight for Deandre Ayton. Last season vs. Jazz and Gobert, Ayton averaged 10 points and 8 rebounds.
Gobert averaged 20 and 12.
Jazz were 3-0 in those games.
Well, he did a little better tonight in spite of the fact that he picked up 2 quick fouls to start the game and another 2 quick fouls to start the 3rd quarter. He held his own at least.

Ayton: 16 points, 5 boards, 2 assists.
Gobert: 13 points, 8 boards, 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 block.

Most importantly, Suns got the win. IN Utah.

Man that game was so fun to watch. Aside from the bullshit fouls raining left and right, everyone played well and that second half was pure poetry. This is playoff Suns tonight. Wish they could bottle this up and carry it forward.

One thing- when Rickys shot is falling we are a totally different team. Not that surprising but shows how important having a reliable shot at the PG spot is.

I honestly thought there was a sound delay from the court to my TV.

It was also partially because on a few of these plays, the Suns player would hesitate after they got the ball, as if they were expecting a whistle. That gave the refs an opportunity to blow one.

The Suns are healthy for the most part, only down one power forward now. That to me is the biggest difference. Monty has bodies that go in the right slots now. Ayton gets in foul trouble and Baynes comes in and holds down the fort like he is supposed to. If they are done with injuries I could see a push.

I fully expected this team to put together a 10-game winning streak at some point. Time is running out, though.
