Way too many Bucks fans in our house. Suns score 100 on a nice Jerome finish with 1:51 left in the 3rd but only up 12.
Yeah, pretty gross to hear all the cheering. Alot of "long time" Bucks fans in the valley? Doubtful. Longest tenured fan was probably 3 years.
Disagree. Half of Phoenix is people from the mid-west that relocated (or their parents did when they were young). Of course when your team is awful you don't shell out 300-400 for a couple of seats to go see them lose. But when they are playing well and have a good team you are more likely to spend the cash.

They save up because they only get one chance a year to see their team live. So every serious Bucks fan in the valley wants those tickets. So even if there are only 0.01% of the Phoenix Metro area that are big Bucks fans, that is ~5,000 fans. And if half of them show up and our loud, that is a big number out of the 14,000 seats during a sell out.

On the other hand, the Suns fans are deciding which of the 41 home games to spend money on. And considering they lost twice as often as they win at home, you might be finding something else to do on an early Sunday afternoon during Spring Training.

Also, Phoenix’s population pretty much doubles in the winter from Snow Birds who flock here from colder climates like Canada, Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin. I am pretty sure a lot of those people were snow birds.
Exactly. Those damn north dakota folk. :P
Every single person in ND could come to Phoenix for the winter and it still would only increase the population of Metro Phx by 10%.

That's no surprise at all.
