Game Day: Suns (26-38) @ Blazers (28-37), Tues 3/10/20

Post by Superbone »

Time: 7:00 pm AZ (7:00 pm PT/10:00 pm ET)
Place: Moda Center, Portland, OR
TV: FSAZ/NBALP

The Blazers will be out for revenge. After losing to the Suns, they came home and opened up a home stand with a loss to the Kings. Think they might game plan differently for Baynes this time?

Go Suns!!!

If they are game planning for Baynes then they already lost.

:? If they continue to leave him open from three, they may have already lost.

I hate to be a downer, but I'm mentally chocking this up as a loss already, having caught the Blazers by surprise on Friday. I'm sure that Stotts is going to have a different game plan ready for the Suns tonight.

I'm feeling that way too. The Blazers are going to come out fighting having lost the last two. But, the way the Suns have been playing lately, maybe the Blazers can't do anything about it.

You might be right. They did get good news recently though, so that should give them some extra pep. Nurkic is going to be back for this next Sunday game.

Let me say that if we hit 19 threes again in this game, we won't lose.

If we get too many healthy people playing the Suns won’t win. We seem to play better when we are short handed and aren’t supposed to win.

This is going to be a very tough game to win. The Blazers have a lot of pride. They are going to play mad tonight.

Should be fun.

The Blazers should be mad. The Suns should have a 3-0 record against them this year, if it wasn't for a number of controversial(blatantly bad) calls against the Suns in the first game.

Is Ayton going tonight?
3 hours ago: Ayton (ankle) went through shootaround Tuesday morning, Gina Mizell of The Athletic reports. "We'll see how he feels tonight," coach Monty Williams said of Ayton. "Hopefully he can go."

And if you remember, we crushed them in preseason.

At some point it must get in their heads like the Spurs did to the Suns for so many years.

Thanks, I forgot about that, so 3 of the last 4 if we are counting that one. And, it was without Rubio, Ayton or Booker, while they had their full team minus Nurkic and played McCollum and Lillard big minutes that game.

Yea it's nice that it took him 3/4 of the season to hit his stride.
