Yep, even the games he lost he would have won.

Some nuggets from Monty Williams' pregame availability:
* Ricky Rubio and Kelly Oubre Jr. will NOT play in tonight's scrimmage. Rookie Ty Jerome will start at point guard. Here's what Williams said he wants to see from Jerome tonight:
"Just want to see him improve. Manage the game. I think Pop (Spurs coach Gregg Popovich) said it best in talking about his young players on his team -- you want to see them take the information, and take the good stuff that they've done in practice, and have some carry-over in the game. I think that goes for all our young guys."
* When asked what he noticed while watching yesterday's scrimmages, Williams pointed to "a lot of zone" defense in the Washington/Denver game (the Wizards' are the Suns' first opponent in the seeding games). He added the no-fans atmosphere was "a bit different," highlighting the vast spacing under the basket. And some coaches went with platoon subs, while others used more traditional sub patterns.
In case you missed this morning's piece, here are some lineup questions and possibilities I'll be tracking tonight: https://valleytales.substack.com/p/3-ro ... tch-during

Mikal taking a dribble hand off and calmly spinning on Mitchell for a mid-range J
Getting out on the break for an And1
I can get used to that

Nice quarter going so far
Defensive effort is there
Early look at In Shape Dario seems to be true , he looks to be moving quicker
Book shot is on also

Monty said he wanted Mikal to be confident in his offensive game and look to make plays
That surely was a good first quarter for him

I think we look pretty sharp, a few defensive miscues but overall pretty impressed. Ayton looks smooth, Book is Book, Bridges is being aggressive on offense. Jerome with a few nice plays.

How odd, I kept on receiving reminders about the restart and how my League Pass will include all of the action and then some. It’s International League Pass, but sometimes they even apply me the blackout criteria without obviously been remotely close to the AZ market.

So happy to get some Suns basketball, The guys look sharp and ready to go, but I saw Booker slip after some sequence and noted that nobody went to check if there was any sweat, like the ball boys usually do. I think there’s only a couple of mopping boys, one per basket.

Ammm confused with this one lol
He had to heave a shot at the buzzer , got the rebound with 4secs left so maybe a quick hit ahead pass was there
The call on Conley shooting a 3 was whack and since then he's hit his two jumpers

Well all I can say is, I sure hope none of the players have COVID. Because they're all touching each other and touching their faces, wiping their noses and mouths, breathing heavily, sweating, pushing each other, etc. If anybody on the floor has it, it's going to spread. Really hope all the testing will keep the virus away.

Second slip for Booker, maybe it’s about his shoes.
