Can we talk about my boy RUBAE having 22 big huge points in only 24 minutes of play? <3 <3

Are we all ready to trade Mikal yet? He's been a total failure and has no future or chance to be good.
Bridges was fantastic today. I hope it's an indicator of things to come.

Absolutely, especially given his late arrival. Hopefully he continues the play we saw over that 11-game stretch:

One the biggest disappointments in suspending the season is the interruption of a very impressive stretch of individual play from Ricky Rubio:

Edit: I cheated him one game. Couldn't remember where this was at first.

Has anyone around here ever said that about him?

Haven't you said that like 3 games in a row? I'm not convinced.

BlaCkAdDa: Bridges has improved his off the bounce game, but Joe was an iso specialist. However, I consider "early JJ" to be the wallflower that struggled to figure out how to use his skills.

I was thinking post wallflower, pre Atlanta :P
I just think Bridges can do a lot, shoot a three, get steals, make plays, score off the dribble...in the flow of the game, agree he hasn't got the ISO game, I never recall Joe having that really going for him here though. ... anyway question answered: I'm the only one lol

I don't think of Joe Johnson when I watch Mikal. Joe was such an iso player, a dribbler, a scorer. Not sure who Mikal's comp is. All I really want from him is Raja Bell 2.0. Hit threes, play great defense, help keep the offense moving a bit. Really happy with his development so far; glad we didn't give up on him.

That's what I want, but in these scrimmages, he has shown more.

Bridges reminds most of Josh Howard. Same body type, could put up the same type of numbers, versatile offensive player but not an ISO guy, can guard almost anyone on the perimeter. I think that's the type of player we have.

I just turned on the game; didn't realize it was so early. Bridges has 20 points on 8/10 shooting at halftime. Not bad! Rubio and Cam Johnson also having a strong half statistically.
Feel free to look at the start time on the game day posts. :P
:-) I've got two young kids, so frankly it's a miracle when I even know what day or time it is.
Point taken.

I'd be happy with that, I really used to like Josh Howard.

Finley. He reminds me a little of a early career Michael Finley.

I’m still hoping for a Khris Middleton trajectory. Not sure he’ll ever get to that level of shooting efficiency from all levels, but I think Bridges is better defensively, so he can be a little less offensively.

Bridges is an awesome 3&D guy who can also drive and make plays. Next season he’ll probably start, since he’s such an ideal complement to RR+DB+DA, and gives us the luxury of bringing Oubre off the bench to give some creative punch to the second unit. Hopefully we can find a good starting PF in the offseason and don’t have to resort to starting Bridges and Oubre together.
