Game Day: Mavs (43-31) at Suns (33-39), Thu 8/13/20

Post by Cap »

Time: 1:00 pm AZ (1:00 pm PT/4:00 pm ET)
Place: Orlando, FL
TV: FSAZ, TNT

The 7-0 Suns look for perfection and a possible chance at the play-in.

Meanwhile, Memphis faces the Giannisless Bucks (also 1:00), and later in the day Portland faces the Nets (6:00, TNT).

Go Suns!!!

We’re gonna take care of business against Dallas and a few former Suns are gonna step up and perform as well(Bledsoe in Milwaukee, Crawford and Tyler Johnson in Brooklyn)

Go Suns!!! Go Bucks!! Go Nets!!

Hard for me to trust Bled tho :)

I would say this , I posted it in a previous thread that Jarrett Allen (who isn't one to give meaningless sound bytes) said it's a big deal for them to end with a win and close on .500 without KD n Kyrie

I tend to believe cause let's be honest it was us , Wiz and Nets getting alot of the it's a waste them being there chatter. Credit to those guys for being 5-2 and showing they are not a scrub team because KD n Kyrie not playing. Caris continues to star

How about Robin Lopez ;)

Maybe just root for a big Middleton game and for the Bucks shooters to catch fire! Korver gonna give us something for the few million we payed him this year.

By all accounts Middleton seems to be going for the 50-40-90 so we'll see how Bucks play this

Mavs want to stick it to us for the earlier loss ? Who knows
Either way tired of hearing the we getting to play weakened teams narrative so if Luka and everyone besides KP ready to go , bring it on

Seriously. I actually wanted everyone to be at full strength when we played them. It's not as fun to beat teams that are resting players. They always have that excuse in their back pocket and it's annoying.

Good job with the Game Day thread Cap. It’s all on you.

Porzingis being out would be a big plus for us. He has been killing it. I hope Ayton saw all our posts calling him a puzzy and is out to prove us wrong. Then again I’m sure he doesn’t even know this place exists. Put on your MAN pants Ayton!

The only thing that scares me is what scares Ayton: BOBAN! He may eat him for lunch.

Boban looks like they found a frozen cave man, thawed him out and put a Maverick’s jersey on him.

Except he thawed out a little bit (not fully).

I have a lunch thing at 12:30 and then I hope to sneak in the game during my work day and work extra later. So, I'll probably be going dark here in a little bit. I may do my delayed posting bit unless it bothers you guys. I like talking (and venting) to my people during the game. :D
