Party over country.
More like power/money over country. They wouldn't be doing this for the party, at all. I mean, for the first time ever the GOP chose to skip adopting an official party platform for the upcoming election. You know, the thing where they typically say we are for small government, lower taxes, 2nd amendment, abolishing abortion, free markets, etc.? They just said, we don't need a platform... probably because they know Trump can say whatever he wants, pivot on any issue, and if they want to keep their donations coming in, they have to eat his shit and smile. Look at all of the folks that support him strongly now that 4 years ago were saying what an awful man he is.

The lack of a 2020 GOP party platform shows that the party has officially turned into a cult around Trump. Whatever Dear Leader says, that's the platform. Wow.
