Thanks, FF. I think I get it now. I’m pretty much done already since I chose my keepers and I’m next to last to lock in my draft position.

So 2 4th rounders cost me a 2nd and a 3rd round pick? 🧐🤔😐

Yes.

I posted about it a couple of pages back and pickle was the only person to give an opinion. His selection is the same way that I have been leaning on the issue, so that's the way we'll go unless enough people come forward and disagree.

You'll be using a 3rd round pick on Chris Paul and a 5th round pick on Kelly Oubre, so your best draft option is to select the highest position available to you when it's your turn since you'll be selecting a new player in the first round.

It's worth noting that having the top draft picks aren't always the best. I often find that picking in the middle of the round is better, but that's just my opinion.

FF, you are doing a good job.

What might help though is to set up a running list of who is next to make their draft position picks, kind of like how we did that mock draft in the main board. Maybe each person gets a deadline, if they don't make a selection within 2 days (or some other deadline) the commissioner decides for them, so we can keep this process moving. The guys that are more active seem to be towards the mid to later end of this decision which is making things a bit challenging.

Thanks, and that's exactly what I'm planning to do.

I haven't gotten around to it yet because I do most of my posting here while I'm at work, but the document I keep for this league is on my home computer and I keep forgetting to send it to myself.

Yep. No worries. I know exactly what you mean, and I'll get something posted here soon. We still have until next Friday (12/4) for people to make their keeper selections. Then we'll have a week for selecting draft positions.

FWIW, bajanguy008 is next up for his draft position but he also needs to post his keepers as well.

My head.
This league has become way too complicated. I don't even know what's going on anymore.
Yup, I'm losing interest. Just give me a draft slot and I'll auto pick and set my lineup and away we go.
The point of this league is to increase engagement and entertainment for everyone. If your plan is to turn everything to "auto", then why did you have interest in the first place?
I've been in the league since 2004 I think, and have been able to make the draft maybe twice. I'll obviously keep close attention to my team during the season, as I've always done. But I know come draft day, there's the same chance of me being able to make it as Sarver selling the Suns, almost none.

We're doing well with about a week to go. We need keepers from 4.5 teams, and Shabazz is on the clock for selecting his draft position.

Can I change a keeper? If so, I'll swap CJ McCollum as my 4th rounder for Simmons. If not, no big deal.

A quick note to let you guys know that selecting keepers is not required.

It's acceptable to pick just one keeper player or none at all, but please make a post to let us know of your decision.
