The Wolves deserve credit. They're not a bunch of bums or kids. They've played much better since the coaching change.

I don't know what the Suns talked about before this game, but it was clear that they weren't completely focused early in the game. They let the Wolves hang around and their role players stepped up big.

If DA is in the starting lineup again tomorrow I’m going to be upset
+7 with Ayton on the court
-11 without him

22 turnovers is what beat them.

Why wouldn’t we challenge that foul that looked like it should be a jump ball?! I don’t get it.
They challenged Booker's foul earlier.
I guess I missed that. I must have FF through it. Was it successful?
All happened during the timeout..just briefly mentioned it when they came back. Unsuccessful.

Nice job tonight. 10 turnovers in the first quarter. This team has the most frustrating losses, sometimes they play like they think they’ve arrived.
Yep, up 8-10 in the 4th, they just got complacent and quit playing good basketball. No killer instinct.

They were not ready to play tonight and you can't really say they were looking past the Timberwolves because they play them again tomorrow.

An embarrassment to the coaches and the players.
How many of these embarrassments are they going to suffer? I guess it’s good enough for them as long as they don’t lose two in a row.

He was the only one keeping us in it in crunch time. Booker with 1 point in the 4th quarter is what cost us the game.

As soon as we can all stop making excuses for him the world will be a better place. He was an absolute mope out there tonight. Plus minus nothing. I saw what I saw.

Furthermore the dude he was guarding had 41-11-8.

Then someone will say “Well a lot of those were when Saric was guarding...”

THAT IS BECAUSE HIS ASS WAS ON THE BENCH WITH FOULS 😂

I disagree. Lackadaisical, unfocused play by most of the team is what cost them the game.

When DA wasn’t making really stupid fouls he was fine. He also left KAT too much...Can’t leave him unless it’s a complete switch, but that might’ve been a strategy problem and not a DA problem.

Turnovers are the real problem. That and our defense in the 4th was trash. Edwards got some calls, but he was beating our guys on the perimeter consistently. I know he hit some 3s, but make him beat you from deep rather than at the rim or ft line.

Book in the first 3 quarters and Bridges were good. Need to come out and dominate them tomorrow.

Just about everyone took a turn...don’t recall anyone really having much success. He’s tough. Too strong for almost everyone...too quick for Crowder. He hit shots early and we played him tight and he used his strength and speed to get into the lane at will.

Wow.....

Were we sloppy all game ? Yes
But forget all that because we get an opportunity for late game execution. Down 2 and needing a stop, forget wondering if it was a jump ball with Crowder.....

How is Edwards hold the ball a step behind the 3pt line and then allowed to dribble deep enough to get to the paint. That was terrible D, we could have blitzed and even if not the help has to meet him higher or be there to take a charge.

Not reaching in from the side trying to force the jump ball.
Did Edwards drive n dish even once tonight ?? He was always gonna drive with tunnel vision there and there's also the fact that Okogie is on the court so we should have been cheating off him for sure both on Edwards drive and the pick n roll with KAT that they went to for the last 4mins

So again game should never been close but as it was we definitely have to execute better than that in close games
Brutal loss

Don’t think Monty had the right game plan defensively...admitted as much post game. Think we’ll see us defend differently tomorrow. Should have adjusted and thrown another defender into the KAT/ANT pick n roll. Those 2 were the only ones doing anything until the end.

I'm happy with Monty in general but not trying to hear that. I could understand if Wolves had some wrinkle going in the 4th and we struggled to adjust. They were doing the same thing whole game, KAT n Edwards had 41 of the 53 at Half iirc.
So Plan B should have been implemented at some point not wait til tomorrow
Oh well sigh smh
