Okay, you've got your 9 point lead, now don't go right back out and piss it away.
You don't?! Somebody needs to tell the Suns that.

Craig is having a great game. What a nice find he's been.
Yeah, he was solid today. His defense is nice.

Sit Johnson's ass down.
Rough one for him too. He and Crowder. I’d finish this game with Craig.
A combined o-fer. Oof!

Neither having a century-old recipe, being brewed in Mexico, nor being originated by a German brewmaster is a particularly distinguishing feature.

Weird game. Poor shooting from both teams...lots of offensive boards...sloppy play. Do we blame the early start? Let’s just finish this one off and get the win.
Barely! We should have NEVER seen OT.

The last 8-9 minutes of Suns basketball has been Book ISOs. Gotta have better late game offense. This might be CPs worst game as a Sun. No one's really had it today but Book and maybe DA. Not sure why Monty went small earlier. We're trying to give this game away.

Glad I missed this one. Atlanta and Chicago at home should be interesting this week.

It was like we were actively trying to lose. I’m pretty positive guy and don’t get too down on losses or even bad stretches but this one...

This was first time in awhile a game had me banging my head against wall. Wtf.
Man, if we had lost this one?!... We would really be going ballistic. I hope the Suns learned something today and know how lucky they were to get the win and analyze their play down the stretch. They've been consistently bad with leads while ending games.

Yea not sure why DA would get much criticism
No idea. Some people around here just love to shit on Ayton. I can't count the number of times in the 4th and OT he kept a possession alive with a rebound or tip out to a teammate.
Monty needs to take a page from Cotton Fitzsimmons' playbook and stay with the hot hand when it comes to Ayton.
He was catching the ball and going strong to the hoop in the first quarter and then they sub in Saric.
I mean, this is cooling off your best player of the moment.
Screw the rotation minutes ...
And it didn’t help that Saric was poor in his minutes as well. They knew the rim protection had gone and they they needn’t worry about any put backs at the other end. The lack of athleticism was very telling.
The Hornets announcers were commenting that he has 0 dunks this year. Then Curry said, "I don't think I've ever seen him dunk."

Interesting...just small sample noise? What is Charlotte doing in clutch time that is so good?
The one dude hitting every three pointer had something to do with it.

I don’t think anyone is criticizing Ayton for this game. He was fine.
It was more situational criticism on one or two plays where he missed open layups that could have sealed the win. But in general he was solid.
This.

PJ Washington had himself a game. Played the most minutes (44) without scoring since 1983. 0/7 0/2.

Dude was just out there running

I don't have a lot of faith in Monty's ability to make (or at least implement) in-game adjustments.

While Eddie Johnson is telling us the Suns are stagnant and not moving the ball and shooting too many 3's. The Suns never seem to make those adjustments. They also never seen to ride the hot hand (unless it's Booker or Paul) and they aren't able to take advantage of mismatches consistently.

Monty is probably great with keeping the players happy and building a "good culture" but we've seen them come out with some lackluster efforts against some of the league's bottom feeders and we've seen them piss away big leads too often against lesser teams.

These things are going to have to change when expectations are higher than they were coming into this season.

Lol. That “mother fucker” was actually referring to a turnover by Paul not a Ayton play but yeah, I agree, he could’ve dunked it.
