I don't like that they're deleting people from the 50 Greatest Players list. The younger people voting on the Top 75 will probably skew it towards recent players. I feel like they should just be adding 25 players to the old list.
I have to believe that KD and Lebron are better than most of the guys on the Top 50 at 50 list. And probably many others have shown themselves to be better than many of the 50 guys over the last 25 years.

I think it’s the right thing to do. It’s been 25 years, right? Some might drop off of the original 50 and some might take their place. I don’t think it would be fair to exclude somebody more recent just because there was somebody from the original 50 in there that they’re clearly better than.

You wouldn't put Isiah in the Stockton/CP3 tier?

I disagree; if it's the Top 75 players of all time, you should just pick the Top 75 players of all time. If more than 25 of those 75 players have come from the last 25 seasons, so be it. The league has seen unprecedented levels of talent in the past few decades, so that should probably be reflected in the list.

I also agree that it's crazy 'Nique got left out. But I haven't yet seen the list to see who I'd replace with him.

McGee looks fantastic in those clips. Really looking forward to this season. Maybe Ayton can learn a thing or two about how to not be a buttercup in the paint.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

You just knew a portion of this fanbase was going to be shocked to learn McGee was a high-skill, high-IQ player. He always has been.

He got made fun of a lot on "Shaqtin' a Fool" for making mistakes. I bet a lot of fans around the NBA (falsely) think he's a bit of a doofus.

It is so satisfying to see a defender drop their head in shame after a play your team makes. That last bit of the clip is the perfect ending when you see Covington's head drop after the 3 splashes.

We've come so far in a couple years. Remember when we used to just pass the ball around at the top of the key? So thankful for Jones and Monty.

Burns and Gambo just played audio of Mikal Bridges at practice today. Sounds like he's getting frustrated also.

What an idiotic organization.

Wasn't sure where to put these since no Weekly News thread yet but a lot of Mikal talk after practice today

That's the second clip I've heard this week where players are no longer mentioning James Jones as someone they love. That's pretty scary that he says Monty and the others around him help him to not think about James Jones and Robert Sarver. Yikes, this team is headed towards disaster (again) fast.

Do they have to say it on every clip for you to keep your cool?

Dude, chill out, is just negotiations.

Yeah, it's "just negotations" like it was "just negotiations" with Joe Johnson, too.

He literally said he needs the coaches, staff, and teammates to help him not think about Jones and Sarver when he comes into the arena. Does that sound like healthy relations to you?

I heard it several times, and he didn’t literally said that, he was mumbling, and you can easily as well put all of those people in the same sentence as the ones that keep him from stay fixated on the contract issue. I know it can be true, that you can approach your boss or your subordinates in the middle of a rough situation and start talking about something else successfully, taking a break from the fight.

But it’s ok, you want to take every bit of information as a sign of doomsday, I don’t.

Take a lesson from Mikal and let go the things you can’t control. Joe Johnson was about 15 years ago, let it go.

The reason I keep bringing up Joe is simply to point out to everyone how the same thing could easily happen again, with one or two of these players, if it’s not commencing already.
