Game Day: Suns (7-3) at Grizzlies (6-5), Friday 11/12/21
Time: 6:00 pm AZ (5:00 pm PT/8:00 pm ET)
Place: FedExForum
TV: BSAZ
Can the Suns beat the up and coming Grizz? Will Ja Morant dunk on us and stare down Ayton in street clothes as he grasps his leg bruise from the sidelines? Will Sarver yell the n-word and slap his wife on the ass whenever the Grizzlies take a lead on us? Can AIG figure out the difference between - and / ?
Stay tuned Planet Orange!

What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Just some between the lines stuff I think is important in this matchup..
It's the first leg of a back-to-back for the Grizzlies with them playing in New Orleans tomorrow night. Dillon Brooks has already been ruled out for this game despite playing his first game of the season two nights ago after recovering from a hand injury.
This is the first game of a three city road trip that has the Suns playing a back-to-back in Houston and Minnesota on the 14th and 15th. The Suns dominated the Grizzlies in their two most recent match-ups, but the Grizzlies were suffering from several more injuries during those games.
I think this one will be very competitive and Ja Morant will be the best player the Suns have seen since Jokic on opening night. Should be entertaining.

I thought this game started an hour later than it did.
Box score looks good to start. Bane has been in a funk after a pretty good start to the season.

I know Book is a top 2 guard/ shooter in the League so you would expect him to shoot his 3s but man when he goes to work in the midrange and attacking the basket
More often than not it's a solid start

CP3 is racking up the steals and assists this year…kind of a throwback year for him so far in that regard. 4 assists and 3 steals already tonight

I read in this document the Suns set their franchise record of 24 made 3-pointers last season in this arena. I don't remember that game, but I guess they like that building.

The only way Jalen Smith can get on the court, apparently.

Gets a little too crazy going on about mid range shots, but I also think he’s fantastic overall. Smart guy, knows the game and he’s fair. I’m sure some bias creeps in, but he doesn’t shy away from calling out our team when he feels it’s warranted.

EJ has a nice touch of confidence and humour going on as well
