Book thought he could make light work of the young kid on call up
Got stripped and then lost his head going for a steal at halfcourt then reaching again later. Kuminga gets to the hoop and JaVale gets a flagrant

I'm glad refs didn't call him for his 4th foul because that's one of those Book smh moments that happen sometimes

At 84-80 with under a minute left, that was a key sequence

Porter taking shots we want him to take, but he’s making them unfortunately

Even on the final miss of the game , Warriors get another offensive rebound which is a fitting end

We got out hustled, turned over the ball too much whole game

That’s the first time people have heard Otto Porter’s name since his name was called at the draft.

Tip of the hat to the Warriors but Doris Burke disgusts me.

He nailed a few contested long 2s, I think those are ones we do want him to take. Better than Curry shooting

I'm disappointed in our execution but in my Opening post I said that I wasn't fussy with how many points Porter Jr. and GPII scored last time we matched up

Tip of the hat to them though because those two balled out

Tough loss. It felt like a no-win situation for us anyway- if we beat them, they weren't full strength and if we lost we'd look even worse. Thought they did a good job disrupting our offensive flow and we couldn't get the spacing right. No lobs to our bigs, only a few really clean looks. We fell asleep too much on their cuts and then their role players hit enough outside shots. GP3 and Porter have both hurt us in these games.

Tough night from Book. The bench came on in the 2nd half when Shamet, Payne and CamJ all making bigs plays and shots so that was encouraging. They just played with more urgency than us all night it seemed.

Know Shel gonna get the tweets in a lil bit later but yea....
The elephant in the room

What I like is that we know Monty believes in having those uncomfortable convos with the guys so diplomatic answer for the media but I'm sure he's gonna tell the team in the locker that's how it felt to him.
Yes it's a regular season game but this one needs to burn a little cause that's not the way you wanna lose.

This is the first loss of the last two seasons where I didn’t feel disgusted at the end. Only watched the second half but the warriors clearly out hustled us and we deserved to lose. We couldn’t deal with their defensive intensity and there were way too many turnovers, forced or not.

This is a good loss for the team to build behind its mistakes. They underperformed overall where it mattered and relied on bursts of scoring and their solid defense. This loss highlighted the team’s weakness that will certainly show in the playoffs. They have the rest of the season to tighten up schemes opponents throw at us:
-essentially how to get by when Book can’t get any easy buckets.
-Bench playmaking.
-stay turnover free.
-how to maintain effort when you’re beating teams without it. This is a burden of any winning team that can stay ahead in the standings without all the ravenous hunger.
