Struggling Suns visit resurgent Hornets
The Phoenix Suns pull into Charlotte, N.C., in a bit of a rut heading into their Sunday night game with the Hornets.
The Suns have lost three of their past four games, which is their roughest stretch since the first week of the season. They opened a three-game road trip Friday with a 123-108 loss in Boston.
The Charlotte Hornets, meantime, have righted themselves from their own a recent rough patch and have won three in a row.
"I love the mentality," Charlotte coach James Borrego said. "We found a way. You do that with your effort, staying together, staying the course, not giving in."
Much of the recent good vibes for the Hornets have come with the production from guard Terry Rozier. He has been Charlotte's top scorer in the past two games, including a season-high 35 points Wednesday night in a 116-108 win at Indiana.
I watch the Hornets more than any non-Suns team and I think they're going to be a tough matchup for the Suns tonight. I didn't watch a second of the Boston game, but I suspect this one will be similar.

Much better start than the last few games. Real good activity, looks like we've got our legs back. Book's hitting from everywhere and Stix looks good again on both ends. Charlotte's really moving the ball well on offense.

Dominant 1st half. Playing with "force" like Monty says. Book is playing angry while the Cams and Mikal are hitting their shots. Stix is getting better each game and more comfortable. You can see the size different tho when he's matched up against true 5s; he gets pushed around because he's still too slender. Love his skillset tho, he knows how to play around the rim.

Yeah, very similar. Another blowout but this time the team in green is on the other side.

Yeah, you’re so right. Another blowout but this time the team in green is on the other side.
You're not paying attention if you haven't noticed my reverse jinx pregame predictions.

Plumlee is competent, but oafish on offense. Stix can handle the weight difference.
Biyombo looks in fine shape and ready to rock ...
