Boucher, who weighs about 200 -- maybe -- stretched over a 6-9 frame, is rebounding like Moses Effing Malone.

Geez ...
215 is generous

Booker is killing them down the stretch.

The Raptors mascot tried distracting Book on the 1st FT. They made the mascot move for the 2nd one. He was laughing about it tho after he made both.

Well got lucky in this one, I’ll take it but we haven’t looked great since our Covid crew came back. Glad we have some days off to get some practice time in

Ayton was shaky in the first half, but made key plays in the fourth quarter.

C'mon Book, don't complain about the Mascot trying to make you miss!

Good W to start the trip. Ugly game but the starters closed it out well - that's why we're the best team in those last 5 minutes. Stix filled in pretty well at the 4 spot I thought knocking down a few shots and defending well enough on the perimeter. Would've been interesting to see him as a small ball 5 against those Raps bigs. We executed down the stretch when it mattered, scraped by the rest of the game keeping it close.

Jae had a great shooting night and kept us in it in the 1st half, then had a big 3 late. Might've been his best offensive game of the season? Paul with 16 and 12 with 5 steals - he was ripping the ball away from guys like Siakam. He's fun to watch on defense.

DA is still working his way back and JaVale looks a little rusty. Not having one of Johnson, Jackson or Wainright hurt tonight so hopefully we get one of them back soon.

Agree with most of that, save for Wainright.
He's a great teammate, but his impact has been minimal.

I was proud of us for pulling this one out. It just felt like it was going to be a loss. Toronto kept crawling back in it every time we'd get a little lead. The rebounding was driving me crazy; felt like we gave up a lot of those possessions. I thought CP3 played great tonight and had some of that old pep in his step. Crowder also shot well after a stiff first few minutes. Booker missed a lot of shots, but it never felt like he was really hurting us, and sure enough he helped us secure the win. Great crunch time play by the Suns.

Why was Booker yelling at Ayton in the 4th after the made floater?

He actually might have been willing to put a body on someone and get a rebound though.

Good point. Sets an impressive screen, too.

Those shoulders. So big and muscular. Wow.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Holy hell. What did I watch? Weirdest most frustrating win I can remember.

No fans. Alleged really arena. Had to listen to the Toronto feed which featured Canadian Dick Vitale. Brutal.

It’s a win so Ill save my complaints. Looking forward to being at the Pacers Suns game Friday. It’s been too long
