Game Day: TWolves (24-24) @ Suns (38-9), Fri 1/28/22

Post by Superbone »

Time: 7:00 pm AZ (6:00 pm PT/9:00 pm ET)
Place: Footprint Center, Phoenix, AZ
TV: BSAZ, NBALP

The Suns return home while seeking 9th straight win. KAT has been balling lately. Too bad Ayton won't be there to battle him.

Dude just stood up off the ground with the ball, proceeded to take a jump shot and somehow it wasn’t a travel.

Also Pat Bev chirping from the bench loud enough to get a warning from the ref. Pure trash that guy.

Not much scoring from Suns' bench. 10 pts v. 21 from Wolves' bench.

McLaughlin looks like a mini Brian Skinner and I can’t unsee it

Looks like Skinner, plays like Jevon.

TWolves are chippy, the ref actually yelled at everyone just before the half to calm down. Then either KAT or Finch got a tech a few plays later. We're stretched with the thin bench and still not much from Shamet or Payton. Starters look good tho and only Edwards and Prince are really hurting us. Hoping the starters can maintain on the heavier minutes.

Booker has missed his last 8 shots, again.

Currently ranked 102nd for clutch shooting this season:

Best start in franchise history. Shame it's on Bally's which has caused viewership numbers to be near their lowest the past decade, per BSoTS podcast. Especially with Covid. People could use some sunshine.

Missed all but the final 4 minutes, but glad we pulled it off. Shamet picked a good time to have a big game, seems like almost everyone has given up on him
