Russia/Ukraine
Re: Russia/Ukraine
Good thread on his this bio lab bs spreads into us media.
Re: Russia/Ukraine
I saw this earlier today, and it's interesting. There are a few things in this that don't really pass the mustard, so to speak. I have questions.
How long does it take to destroy these Soviet era bio weapons & pathogens? It's been 17 yrs so far if she's using the 2005 date, and we know that Nuland said they were concerned that the Russians could get their hands on what was there. Do we need another 20 yrs?
Why are the buildings that supposedly housed these Soviet era facilities look like they were built recently?
How come we know of Obama helped Ukraine to build biolabs from 2005? https://web.archive.org/web/20110522081 ... in-ukraine
So we should just absolutely believe the totally open US military about this, when they were denying that they even exist earlier this week and now that it's still obvious that they are lying again? Idk man

Re: Russia/Ukraine
This was an interesting thread from a UK bouncer that vacationed to Ukraine to see the war. I had no idea of this fascination to vacation in dangerous places. He recorded his trip on his phone and tweeted it out. I'm not saying that you should gleam anything off of this as gospel truth, but just thought I would share.

Re: Russia/Ukraine
Where the fuck do you find this bullshit? Another post from this guy... seems totally legit.
Re: Russia/Ukraine
I'm not vouching for his bs, Indy. And I do not follow the guy. Do you understand that? Is that a hard concept for you? So his entire thread is 'not legitimate' and made up, got it.

Re: Russia/Ukraine
Everything you post in the politics threads is either pro-Trump, pro-Russia, anti-Dem or anti-US government. You claim all of the mainstream media is fake and the Lez luTHORS of the world are telling the real story. When questioned about it you always say you aren’t pro-Trump, pro- Russia, anti-Dem or anti-US government and you don’t necessarily agree with anything you post.

You are getting all up in your feelings, Nodack. I didn't claim that Lez luTHORS of the world are telling the real story. I even claimed that when I posted it. I didn't have to backtrack on that.Nodack wrote: ↑Thu Mar 10, 2022 10:17 amEverything you post in the politics threads is either pro-Trump, pro-Russia, anti-Dem or anti-US government. Like I said, anything you post is going to be either pro-Trump, pro-Russia, anti-Dem or anti-US government and when questioned about it you will claim you don’t necessarily agree with what you post. That doesn’t stop you from ONLY posting either pro-Trump, pro-Russia, anti-Dem or anti-US government posts. I am ok with it. Just own it instead of playing your shell game.

Re: Russia/Ukraine
You don't seem to be ok with it, since I have heard about it quite often including multiple times in the the last few posts. Otherwise, you probably wouldn't say anything about it, consistently.

Re: Russia/Ukraine
THIS. Own that you spew nonsense and deflect when called on it. If you don't believe something you are posting, and aren't posting it specifically to dispel the point it is making, why bother? That would be like me posting a "The US faked the moon landing" youtube video and saying "I am not saying this is 100% true... but makes you think!" then when questioned why I believe that bullshit I say I don't and just posted it to share other views. It is BS and just admit it. Don't post bullshit unless you believe it, or are posting it to refute it.Nodack wrote: ↑Thu Mar 10, 2022 10:26 amLike I said, anything you post is going to be either pro-Trump, pro-Russia, anti-Dem or anti-US government and when questioned about it you will claim you don’t necessarily agree with what you post. Re: Russia/Ukraine
Fair enough, I see your point. This isn't the moon landing, which happened 50 yrs ago though. We are in very short supply of footage from the ground in Kyiv, so I thought it was interesting.Indy wrote: ↑Thu Mar 10, 2022 10:36 amTHIS. Own that you spew nonsense and deflect when called on it. Re: Russia/Ukraine
I think Biden has been very smart with the Russia/Ukraine war. There have been so many voices saying what the US should be doing or not doing that are all over the map. He has been carefully balancing pressure on Russia without starting WWIII. He has been very careful not to provoke Putin too much and yet provide assistance to Ukraine. Some wanted him to place troops in Ukraine and he was quick to shut that down. Definitely would lead to WWIII. Poland wanted to give them fighter jets and Biden shut that down fearing it would provoke Putin into war with the US. Some want a no fly zone. Biden shut that down and rightly so because that would lead to US and Russian aircraft shooting at each other and that could also lead to WWIII.
The US and the world has applied enough pressure to really hurt the Russian economy. The world has supplied Ukraine with enough weapons that have clearly had a devastating effect on Russias military in Ukraine. They are faced with a long drawn out insurrection in Ukraine not unlike Russia’s and US’s war with Afghanistan. Biden has been the guy who has been the voice of reason in all this. I know he won’t get any credit from anyone for it so I am saying it. I am willing to pay more for gas to avoid WWIII. I just ignore anything the right says. They are all over the map and have no clue what to do other than blame Biden.

Re: Russia/Ukraine
I appreciate that he hasn't gotten into WWIII. I was worried that he would. So, Good Job, Joey!
I do believe that Poland was willing to give Ukraine jet fighters, but wanted the US to deliver them. Biden said, "Nah, we don't want to deliver them and provoke a response."
I don't appreciate his people gaslighting everyone though.

Re: Russia/Ukraine
There is an abundance of photos and footage from within Ukraine that's going out every day to various international news media. Not just US but UK and all kinds of other countries. If the whole thing were faked by actors, it would require a vast international conspiracy the likes of which the world has never seen.
Or, you know, maybe Ukraine really is getting attacked by Russia. Wouldn't that be a much simpler and more plausible explanation?

Re: Russia/Ukraine
I haven't done much reading about the MiGs. I thought the issue was that we couldn't deliver them without flying over hostile airspace, and that could be viewed as an act of war? Or is it that we didn't want to get our hands dirty by touching the jets ourselves? Or is the problem that they're MiGs, which are the same kind of jets the Russians are using, which would make it confusing to know who is friend vs foe? Etc. I'll do some more reading today.In2ition wrote: ↑Thu Mar 10, 2022 11:32 amI appreciate that he hasn't gotten into WWIII. I was worried that he would. So, Good Job, Joey!

I do get the sense that the conservative media is eagerly searching for a "Joe Biden is screwing up Ukraine/Russia" angle, and mostly they are failing to find one since Biden is doing a pretty good job handling the situation overall. But they're currently drooling over the possibility that this MiG thing could be the "screw up" they've been searching for. My guess is that it isn't, but I don't know for sure yet.
Re: Russia/Ukraine
I believe that they are getting attacked. I am not disputing that. I dispute things when I think they are BS, and it's usually individual things that are shown to be false. It just makes me wonder why they would do that, when it's clear that the truth would still have the world on their side.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Thu Mar 10, 2022 11:41 amI believe that they are getting attacked. Re: Russia/Ukraine
My understanding is that the MiGs are actually what the Ukrainian pilots are used to flying, so it makes sense that they would get them. I believe that their call signs, and the radar knows where each of the friends are and anything else is unfriendly, so I'm not sure that would be something that they are worried about. I think flying them over to Ukraine could be considered a hostile act, by whatever country sent them. In the US case, it would come from a US base, and be blamed on the US.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Thu Mar 10, 2022 11:49 amI haven't done much reading about the MiGs.
