Remember when Kyrie to the Suns was a thing? Thank God it didn't happen

There will be numerous teams willing to trade a better package than Cam Johnson, rotation bench players, and mediocre first round picks.

I'd love KD on the Suns, but it's not going to happen for a sack of peanuts. I still think any deal would have to include Ayton or Mikal, if not both.

Warriors drop 4th straight behind a massive freethrow disparity in Orlando. The darlings of the West are now 3-6.
Go Suns!

This. There’s just no way Cam and bullshit are gonna cut it. If it does then build a statue of James Jones in front of footprint.

Lakers really want an unapologetic antisemite? Who thinks that he can’t be antisemitic because of “where he’s from?”
Nobody needs some yeehawdist or lunatic shooting up a synagogue because some celebrity can’t help posting his bullshit conspiracies. There just needs to be a zero tolerance. Sorry you can’t afford media training, but if you can’t handle being a celebrity, your contract should be toast.
I don't think Kyrie is truly anti-Semitic. There are too many personal accounts of him being generous with all types of people. His issue, which I'd label a "personality disorder" for the sake of simplicity, is his behavior in public and specifically when interacting with the media.

He's curious, which is great, but it's as if he questions everything and doesn't want to believe anything that isn't framed in his own "truth". Flat Earth, vaccines, fucking world history... All of his takes are centered around his perspective and interpretation of events. Then he'll double down when someone calls him out for being absurd or rude and that's when the combative nonsense with the media starts.

He genuinely believes he's the smartest person in the room, so he cannot bring himself to retract anything he says because he believes he's always correct, so retreating on his opinion would imply that he's lying about his beliefs.

I know folks on here call me a Warriors fan, but I am loving seeing them struggle despite everybody in the NBA media preemptively handing them the West this year. Meanwhile our Suns are cruising. Life is good.

They are 0.0 games ahead of the Lakers and Kings. At this rate, there will be no playoffs for them to worry about.

I don't know why Kerr keeps playing Ty Jerome.

Not even 10 games yet. Chill.

The old rule in the NBA is that you who you are after 20 games. So only 11 games to go for the Warriors.

GS will not be as bad as they are now all year. They’ll figure it. It’s just too early to making big assumptions, it’s always good to wait at least 20 games. We started 8-8 in our finals’ season and started 1-3 last year before winning 64 games. Everyone needs to chill with the hot takes.

Now to be a little contradictory, while it’s extremely small sample size, it does feel like the West is super wide open this year. Suns really need to nail this Crowder trade.

You are right WW, but I also don't think it's about hot takes as much as people just wanting to enjoy their schadenfreude on the Warrior situation. I know that's where I'm at for sure.

I wonder how the mood would be around here if the Suns had a similar record but we’re making Mikal, Cam and Ayton handle running the offense.

That's a great question FF. Personally I think I'd be okay with that, as long as in whatever opportunities Booker and CP3 get they still show that they haven't lost it. I'm secretly hoping that that's still the case with CP3, that he'll continue to ramp up as the season progresses, but the initial eye test hasn't been overwhelmingly positive.

I think the Warriors have a rebounding problem and if you look at a lot of their losses the FT disparity is pretty big. Practically double for the Suns, Pistons, Hornets, and Magic. Not totally uncommon for a jump shooting team but I think it's why they are losing games.

Also think Klay and Draymond have taken a significant step back, and the 4/5 positions haven't gotten youthful production. So basically what you said, carey. Wiggins and Poole are capable contributors, but Looney is not an every night Mark West, and Wiseman is not ready.
