New wrinkle: advertisers are leaving the platform, so Elon is complaining and threatening to "out" the departing companies.

The latest: Twitter is trying to re-hire some of the developers they fired, after realizing that they still needed their skills after all. What a mess.

And here we have it. Elon comes out and explicitly encourages folks to vote for Republicans.

Note that in the past Elon said that Twitter should remain politically neutral. Okay then.

Now Elon is blaming Senators for the fact that they are being impersonated. And making fun of them for wearing masks. What a leader!

Elon has come up with a novel new feature where organizations can request "verified" account status.

What a deal! Looks like Musk is going to hitch his other companies to Twitter and take them all down together.

Company-wide email sent by Elon to all Twitter employees last night. Demands that they commit to being "hardcore" and working long hours to launch "Twitter 2.0", else be fired with 3 months' severance.

Take the three months! Get out of there! It's coming from the inside.

The employees should be careful what they say and how they handle any departure. If they voluntarily click any button such as "Yes I want to leave," then suddenly they've quit rather than being fired, and they might lose their benefits or severance or stocks or whatever else they would be entitled to if fired. It's probably afoul of various California employment laws, what Elon is doing, but I am no expert in such.

Click yes and then start looking for a new job where your boss isn’t an douchbag.
