Great post game interview from Booker.

"..just trying to keep them off of the free throw line."

"Pat gotta stop pushing people in the back. Push'em in the chest."

Ayton’s worst game yet?
Reggie Miller was all over him all game long. Especially compared to AD’s special night.

What's the point of signing your center to a max contract if you won't even use him?
Exactly. Not worth the max.

“Use “ him. He doesn’t want the ball. Not even faking the attempt to seal
Reggie said he has to yell at his teammates to get him the ball but that’s not his nature.

I’m glad he finished the game strong tho.

Suns had a nice run to end the quarter. Time for some dumb turnovers to make it closer than it should be.
You just had to say it.
The easiest thing you didn’t predict is Pat Bev being tossed for pushing somebody in the back.

Weird how Anthony Davis immediately looks at the rim whenever he catches the ball. Would be nice if Ayton did that. Maybe he'd be more engaged then.
Not all big men are great at driving from the top of the key. Shaq gets it.
He just had an offensive rebound 4 feet from the rim and didn't even suggest putting up a shot. He immediately passed it to the three point line. (And then hilariously put up his hand for a post up.)

I'm not saying that example is a bad play by him, but it sure as hell illustrates that he doesn't take the opportunities to score like he should.
That would have been a dunk for AD for example.

I’m not sure he has ever secured it.

How many teams have won a game by double digits while losing the free throw battle by 30?

35-5, And 0...ZERO...FTs for Ayton in 32 minutes...I just don't get it...I don't. Davis had 16 FT attempts...Ayton had ZERO...not a few...0...

Wow...

I've been critical of Ayton and absolutely think he needs to force the issue more on offense, and play with more force in general. BUT, Cam Payne is not a player who he'll ever thrive next to. Payne is looking to score first, isn't a great PnR or post-entry passer, and, most importantly, doesn't have that PG brain that says "this guy hasn't touched the ball for a while, let me get him a few looks to keep him engaged." Ayton looks much better with Book initiating.

Good minutes from our 2-way guys tonight. Duane Washington quietly saved us in the 4th and if Ish can play like this on a semi regular basis, I think we’ll have seen the last of Dario in the rotation.

Yep, both DWJ and Ish have shown more potential as rotation pieces than both Shamet and Dario have this season.

Shamet, Dario and Jae are just 30 million of dead money at this point. Really hope we can capitalize on the right deal for these guy because the west looks crazy open right now.
