DA was about 0.2 seconds away from his first 30/20 game...oh well at least we won!

SUNS WIN! What a game.

DeAndre Ayton: 29 points on 11-18 shooting; 20 rebounds; 3 assists; 2 blocks; and only 1 foul in 34 minutes. That is one helluva game. I joked about JeremyG, but I was shouting at the TV and pumping my fists for the big fella. Really happy for him. Great great performance.

The reality is that he can do this EVERY game but he'll only give you this kind effort 50% of the time. The hope is that he'll bump it up to 70% by the end of this season and 90% in coming years.

Loved seeing the smile on his face as his teammates swarmed him after the final call. Better motivation for a guy like him than anything else.

Mr Max was Mr Max tonight. That’s what we need to see consistently, not just whenever the hell I feel like it

Sauce is gonna be in shambles seeing jock win his spot back in the rotation lol
JACK drugged Monty into playing time tonight.

ISH has earned himself some rotation minutes.

Jock and Ish were huge tonight. I don't know what Jock did to get benched but he's gotta play.
Probably because jock was missing so many 3s it made Elfrid Payton look like a good shooter.
Exactly. He’s like Big Jake skill with Jae Crowder confidence

What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

I’m not asking for 29pts 21rbs games every night but this version of Ayton, just being this aggressive, when fully healthy we might be the best team in the west. He doesn’t even have to be this aggressive every night, just most nights lol.

Might have to catch this one on a rewatch…pretty thrilled with what Ayton seems to be doing. Exactly what we need when Booker has an 8/27 game. Now let’s see them both go off in the same game.

Well, Suns lost a few weeks ago by 1 point in Utah. It's only fitting that they win by 1 point at home. 😉

Book really tried hard to spoil this game tonight 🤐😳
Geeeez

Again, love Cam's energy but he still struggles with when n where to attack, when to go as to when to try get a look for someone else. He's just more combo guard than point guard so it shows up at times

1st quarter was so frustrating because we weren't looking inside enough
It's like we had our minds made up after the game in Utah that we gotta outgun these dudes. So many rushed shots with nobody else touching the ball

Really impressive game and stat line by DA especially after like I said he probably only had 3 or 4 shots in the first quarter

The start of the 4th quarter run to take the lead was easily one of my favourite stretches of the whole season
Our field goals were something like....
Back to Back scores for Jock
Ish corner 3
Mikal iso post up with shot clock running down
DLee with his standard 4th quarter 3
Post up iso to DA

I hate when book gets trapped in crunch time and gives it up to cam. You just know he’s gonna launch it

This was a fun game. DA has really been great these last few games and deserves full credit. One of his best (regular season) 2-game stretches as a Sun.
