I think I’d have a very similar team…the one spot I’d change is maybe Duncan…but not sure who I’d take. Maybe KG…unless I’m playing in the 80’s/90’s…then I’d probably go with Hakeem.
You guys are too young. I'd go with Wilt or Russell at the 5.
Shaq bodies both those dudes, Russell might have been 220lbs. If it's not Shaq at the 5, gimme Kareem.
Shaq ain't bodying Wilt, believe you me. Like I said, too young to understand. Laz, help me out here.

Hakeem, MJ, LeBron, Curry and Havlicek.

Yup, Havlicek ... Hondo had a knack for big plays in big games. Won titles with two different eras of Celtic teams.

I just have no clue how they’d hold up in the modern game.

Havlicek over KD is criminal. At least go Bird if you want a Celtic on there

Havlicek played defense and blended with different teams. He also was a better athlete.

I thought about Bird, but he was surrounded by McHale and Parish, which benefitted him well.
I like Larry Legend, but Havlicek was just as good in big games.

He never played with a 3 point line. He’s not a better defender and athlete than KD. I just don’t trust these guys from premerger days to hold up against modern players.

Wilt once clamped on Bob Lanier's arms about the elbows, lifted him and moved him out of the way on an inbounds play.
Lanier weighed about 280 at the time.
Wilt's strength was legendary.
Don't just judge by bulk ... Shaq would have trouble with Wilt.

OK, bub, who never saw Wilt in action and is comparing him to movie character.

Hey man, back in your day, I'm sure they used to use real leather balls and authentic peach baskets. If you believe Wilt could stop Shaq, that's great, I do not. Bub. 😀

What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Nah, I would take Dream over Shaq.
