The offensive rebound by Ayton late in the game was infuriating. Great hustle by him, but he instantly panicked and looked for someone to pass it too. He didn't even realize that no one is trying to get open because he has the best chance to score and instead he nearly turned it over on the pass. To make matters worse, he then couldn't catch the pass right at his chest because he didn't sense the defender behind him.

If the suns are lucky enough to win the championship this year, it wouldn’t surprise me if Paul just calls it a career.

Monty going to close with CP and Ayton no matter how bad they are in the 4th
I am so sick of your Ayton hatred. As bad as Jeremy G was one side, you are just as bad on the other. He is not the only reason the Suns lost. Far from it.

We may have lost but Ayton was player of the game.

No one is saying Ayton lost the game.

We're saying he's a max player who performs like a role player. It's bad cap management to have him on this team.

Just an awful game from him. Should have rolled with Jock. I said it.

Did you watch the game? Ayton was awful, he got a few uncontested jumpers to fall because the Bucks let him have them. He fumbled numerous passes, lazy defense and bad choices led to dumb fouls.

Ayton just fucking up so bad. He used to be so good at not falling for head fakes, but now he falls for every one, like wtf happened?
Dude, look at his stats. He’s having a GREAT game.
Stats don’t tell everything, Ayton had many defensive lapses this game. He’s just been not very good this year.
We watching the same game?! Ayton almost single-handedly brought us back!

I can overlook Jock Landale doing the dumb shit Ayton does night in and out. He's barely hanging on in the league.

Ayton is making $30M this season. At some point even the biggest Ayton truthers have to accept that his contract is hurting the team.

I feel like Ayton had a rough start, then settled down and started cooking offensively but those dumb fouls fucked everything up, made him sit too long and fucked up any offensive rhythm he had going.

Does it count as cooking if he was doing exactly what the Bucks wanted? He was wide open on like every shot.

I'm just keeping it 💯. Ayton was 8-19 on alot of uncontested jumpers. And good on him for hitting 8. Honest question, did he score in the 2nd half? I think I remember a bucket.

Ayton is now a max player. Jock played 14 mins, got 12 points, and was a +12. He's a minimum player.

Guy was a -15 for a reason. I criticize him mainly on effort and decision making. I mean sure, my emotion goes into picking apart most of the time, but I don't think my criticisms of him are unwarranted.

Edit: Ayton had a nice stretch in the first half that I posted about. I'm not going to pretend like his second half didn't happen though.

Ayton is a very polarizing player. As a #1 pick people are going to have vastly different expectations of him his entire career.

The #1 pick is water under the bridge. It's nonsensical to cling to it now that there's a much bigger issue, being overpaid by about $10M annually.
